My wife and I come to the Olympic whenever we are on Kauai. They have a large selection on their menu. Something for everyone. Their portions are huge. Great breakfasts with coffees and teas. Huge lunches and drink items. The salad selection is good. Need more dressing, just ask. Can't beat the dinner selections. We love their fish & chips and ribs. Super meaty and great BBQ sauce for the ribs. OK, now I'm hungry again. I'm heading up to the Olympic for another great dinner.
The waiters are really friendly and helpful. Great food too, and the price ain't high for the amount of food in the dish. Definitely recommend this place if you are in Kauai island:)
Probably one of my favourite places in all of Hawaii. The food was amazing, staff were friendly and the atmosphere and location were awesome.
Food was good but not great. Husband had the Hawaiian pork I had fish & chips. Pork was good. Place would be so much better if they used fresh cut potatoes instead of frozen waffle fries. Great location
This cafe is awesome! Great waitresses, yummy mimosas and the kalua pig breakfast burrito is sooo good and enough for 2! We would highly reccomend this for breakfast!
The food was great and the service was very friendly. I'm very pleased with the price and the amount of food given. Great place and I would highly recommend

Good food and drinks. My husband and I had mai tais here along with happy hour coconut shrimp (a great deal at $5 a plate and you got 8 of them). On another day I got a salad that was okay - not bad but not excellent. My husband got a fish sandwhich with fries and that was very tasty. Overall I would reccommend.
We just went there for drinks but it has food too!! Royal margarita was really good and at a good price! It's a second store bar which makes this place cool!
Big menu, fun location, good food and great service. One of our best meals on the island.
Great open air bar for a drink. The food portions are enormous (from what we saw because we only drank) and the drinks are good.
If you're looking for a breakfast spot on Kauai, I definitely recommend this spot. You can expect great views, attentive service, good food, and very large portions. The french toast was especially delicious! We look forward to trying it again for lunch.
Had lunch here and the ahi furikake was amazing. Wife had the pork platter. Pork was solid as to be expected. Wait staff Courtney was super attentive and the open air dining over the shopping area was very breezy and nice. Beware the mixed drink prices is only caution I would give as depending on well vs primo they can stack up quick.
Beautiful views; open air restaurant. Price is moderate on this island with great food quality and quantity. Very friendly staff; my wife and I ate here twice in our 1-week stay. Good parking around back, which is an island rarity. Upstairs, no elevator. (Ask for the downstairs “restroom code”.)
Came here twice for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious! Got the pig omelet and banana and macadamia nut pancakes the first time and the pig breakfast burrito and kimchi fried rice the second. Such fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Huge portions so come hungry. And the service was fast. The pig was best I’ve ever had. So moist and flavorful. 10 out of 10! So good!
Really enjoyable lunch stop on our drive thru Kapaa.
Food served quickly, and very tasty... especially the fish n chips. They were extremely good, as described by our UK friends who were with us
Took a bit of time to get the cheque... but hey we were on vacation, so chill a bit, right ?
We stopped in for lunch after walking around and it was a nice surprise. The restaurant is on the second floor with pretty cool views. We had the fish tacos which were excellent. Amelia our server was helpful with our questions about the menu and our food came pretty quickly.
Food was good, but fairly average. It’s on the second floor, so you get a good view of the town.
It’s not Greece, so don’t expect the hummus to be good. But we only got that because they didn’t have any guacamole at noon?
The loco moco there was pretty good, only gripe was that it was more undercooked than usual.
Drinks were okay. Would have got a beer but they were in the middle of switching out the kegs the whole time were were there.
Overall quality of the food is great. The portions were generous and satisfying. I particularly enjoyed the kalua pig - it was delicious! However, the Mexican-style dishes, such as the burritos and chips and salsa were seriously lacking.
READ WARNING: they’re named Olympic for their giant portions. If you want to eat for an entire day or feed a family of 8 with one order of the burrito then this is the place. Honestly…. So mad I got no warning of how large this thing is. A great reflection of the sleeping giant mountain you can see from your table as you try to devour its equivalent. You’ll sit in shame as you eat your fill and there is barely a dent made in the monstrous plate. Do not take on this challenge unless you’re ready to accept defeat in the gladiator ring.
We had breakfast at this place and it was delicious! You could see the ocean from our table and on the other side of the restaurant you can sit on high tables and view the town below
