I love that they continue the fireworks display annually and that they've gotten the parking situation under more control. Lovely display for the locals!
They respond quickly to any questions and this is a wonderful community display! I noticed there wasn't a 5k this year but I'm sure there was a good business decision behind that.
First time visitor. The few people I encountered were very friendly. Service was nice, worship team was inspirational. The word of God was easily understood.
I have been a member here for almost 5 years and have loved this church since the first day we attended. The people are friendly and inviting, the pastoral staff is engaging and provides relivant messages every time.
This is a church that welcomes everyone despite your race, age, denominational background or income level.
My family and I love going to this church! We have checked out so many others and just felt right at this one. They have an amazing kids program and now my kids beg me to go to church. We can say enough nice things about Pastor Jason and Jill. They make church fun and even though it is a large church, they make you feel like family.
Was a great church while I lived in KC and attended there. Believe it's only gotten better since I left. What does that say about me? Seriously, praising God for the work He is doing through Evangel Temple and the St. Johns. Praise Him!
Been here for special occasions .... excellent Christmas Concert! Also had a Halloween event that we took my granddaughter too .... it was great .... lots of games/inflatables/pony rides/animals to feed ... she loved it!
I love Evangel Church! Pastors Jason and Jill are led by God each week, delivering the truth from the holy scriptures. I highly recommend our children's and youth ministries for parents looking to have their family divinely feed and focused on Christ's soon return. The other ministries in the church are indeed about helping all people in our community, our nation and those in other countries. If the Holy Spirit is inviting you to attend, don't hold back, you'll be glad you did.
A very fun family oriented church. The youth department is phenomenal that spans from infant to 12th grade. The congregation and pastors are very friendly and very serious about the lord and his message. I would highly recommend giving this church a visit if ever in the kansas city area.
I really feel good coming here. I just wish more of the people interact. With new members or guest to hug, say Hello how are you, acknowledge me as a person that in a family. I've walked in church hurting, bruised from constant harrasment, rejected from family an other people, talked about by family an friends, an abused my daughter an father to put me down, her father is a control freak. I've been verbal abused, an tried to physically but my Dad said not touch me. I'm holding this inside an I just want someone to say it's going to get better an purely hug me.
I don't attend this church but have visited and attended many special events because I have family attending here. It's a great church with programs for everyone of every age. Give it a try, you'll like it.
