Steak 'n Shake

Went to dine in around 10 pm and still had good service. I like that you order at a touch screen now...gives me plenty of time to make up my mind on what I want or change things as I need to without the confusion. Food was fresh and tasted pretty good. I did think the burger was lacking a little in flavor compared to other times I've eaten here and was disappointed that they only had unsweetened tea available. Overall it was a good experience.

First time at a steak and shake and the food was mediocre even for a fast food restaurant. The shake was good but not so good that I would return. This location also got the order completely wrong and there was only one other person in the store with no one in the drive thru line. I worked in a fast food restaurant for 8 years so if it was busy I could see this mistake but when it’s slow I don’t see any excuse. Wrong toppings on two of the burgers and the sides were wrong for all three orders that were placed. Thankfully I was just eating with my family so we just rearranged the sides and made it work. Would have gone back to ask to get our food fixed or a refund but from reading the recent reviews it seems like loosing the money is a better deal then having a discussion with anyone who manages at this establishment. Basically what I am saying is there is so many food options very close to this place that if your looking for food just go elsewhere. If you’re just looking for a shake though, this place would be fine.

Came through the drive thru today 3/19/22. The lady that was taking orders as well as working at the window was so nice and apologetic that we waited longer than expected because they only had 3 staff members show up to work today. We let her know that it was totally fine and understandable! I appreciate those 3 at this location, even though you were short staffed, you were still able to get orders taken and out. Thank you for what you all do!

“Open until midnight” for dining/drive thru is a lie. Got to the door at 11:25 and doors were locked and it looked like they closed earlier than that. Drive thru is crawling…. No signs posting anything otherwise. Employees outside smoking instead of getting orders out through before they close. Hope the employee washed their hands!! Update: sat in drive thru for over 30 minutes. At 11:50 they stopped taking orders and refused to acknowledge. TERRIBLE customer service.

They wouldn’t take my gift card said i had to go through the drive through to use my gift card. I believe it was the manager i talked to and she didn’t even try to find a different solution just walked away from me and didn’t give me a chance to respond neither did she apologize for the inconvenience. This steaknshake had the worst service. Plus on top of that I order a double bacon cheeseburger and they gave me a single. And also another customer was served RAW chicken tenders TWICE.
