More on IG @table_4_2_chicago Great breakfast, friendly staff and one super big burger. I finally made it here for lunch and had a chance to try the big mouthful burger. This think is huge and well put together. The side of sweet potato fries went well together. Special thanks to the chef who came out and handed me a handful of napkins. I used every single one 😝

Kimmy’s is an absolutely wonderful place. From the food to the atmosphere it’s a wonderful place! Local hometown favorite, the staff is pleasant and upbeat they laugh and joke around with you all the while keeping your drinks topped up and making sure you don’t need anything. Then we are on to the food, the portions are large (in true American fashion) and the food is flavorful and perfected by the Kimmy’s staff. The owner herself works here and has a wonderful personality making sure to greet the patrons. All around wonderful family friendly environment!!!

This restaurant has the nostalgia of a childhood spent bonding with family. Friendly staff with a warm environment that promotes conversation and a feeling of acceptance. Everyone is welcomed and treated like family. There is a strong sense of patriotism with the decor which is appreciated especially in the times we are in. And the food. Well the food tastes like food that someone who loves you…would serve you. I strongly suggest their breakfast menu which has some hearty tasty options to satisfy your appetite. The service is top notch and very accommodating. Definitely a spot that my husband and I intend to make a regular thing. A definite must repeat experience.

This is a very local spot , a very good breakfast (served all day) spot. Just a fair lunch spot. Closes at 2pm most days. I was able to experience both breakfast and lunch here. My family had gushing mushroom/ cheese omelet with hashbrowns and toast ( very good, portion huge). Another family member had pancakes. They were light, fluffy and flavorful. I had the fish dinner, (12.99) with 2 sides, mac n cheese and hulishki , aka noodles and cabbage. Fish was huge, 1 piece, fried, flakey and delicious, but mac n cheese and cabbage/noodles just ok. Didn't leave here hungry by no means, cup of coffee was in a large cup and was very good. I would just recommend this as a really good "all day" breakfast spot.

Stopped by this morning with family and so glad we did! Kimmie, Bill & their adorable daughters made us feel so welcome. The place is homey and warm like a hug from your Momma . You have to try Bill's "Working Man's Breakfast". Pancakes were as near perfect as you can get, with that little bit of crisp around the edges of those fluffy & buttery pillows. You know the kind. It's comfort food made with love. Don't forget to pick up some home grown produce out front. The girls will take good care of you. Thank you Kimmie & Family ❤️! The Nealls
