Classic tavern in the west end. They do have some delicious homemade food. The chicken ball should be tried by anyone that is in the Johnstown area. Check my pics for the full description of the chicken ball.

I just love their Chicken Balls! I never have room for dessert when I get to eat there so I get gob cake to go. You have to try it. 😍😍. Today I got banana cake. ❤️❤️

I love eating here they have the best wings if you enjoy your wings extra crispy with flavor this is the place to go they also have an amazing salad you will not be disappointed with anything you try from their menu their customer service is also wonderful although the pandemic made things a little harder for their schedule they are a great place to eat I’m a person who is from New York and I must say this is one of my favorites in Johnstown PA

I found this tavern based on Google reviews while traveling through the area. Glad we stopped. My husband loves the chicken balls at Thunder in the Valley - but we didn't realize that this is the restaurant that makes them. I had a bunless loaded bacon double cheeseburger - very good. They had a good selection of entrees and sandwiches. The servers were very friendly and kept our iced tea glasses filled and the prices were good. We'll definitely return.
