Excellent food, Excellent service, exceptional view and a must try their homemade donuts for dessert I assure you unlike any you've ever had before! We had spaghetti bowl, chicken marsala and blackberry glazed fresh doughnuts and we also shared a caprese salad! Simply perfect 🙂

It was our first time to be in this restaurant, overall the food was great. We we’re just disappointed with the service we had. We have to follow up somebody after almost 45 minutes of waiting to serve the appetizers, and after reporting the situation , another person helped out in serving other food we ordered. Then our server explained that the kitchen is short staffed . We are thankful for the manager for her calmness and helped in dealing our situation , and she was even helping out in serving some of our orders and for making us feel comfortable and be satisfied with our visit. Overall it was a great day and experience on Father’s Day.

Wow! What an experience! Thank you to the 4 ladies in town that recommended Asiago's Tuscan restaurant in Johnstown, Pa. We went up some winding roads to get to the top of the mountain where the restaurant is and boy the view is amazing! The restaurant was booked so we waited at the bar for a table, only to realize that the bar section has very nice tables and the bartenders Sheila and Matt were more than happy to serve us. We sat by the window and had fabulous views of the valley and the city. We ordered an appetizer of fried zucchini which was cut in sticks instead of the usual rounds and they were only lightly breaded and delicious! Sheila and Matt were very entertaining, efficient and did not rush our food which we always appreciate. Our whole meal was timed perfectly. I had the lobster ravioli w/ a basil cream sauce and my husband ordered the sausage Parmigian. The tomato gravy was light and fresh. My only complaint was they did not have cannolis, what Italian restaurant doesn't have cannolis?!! We order ice cream and took the fried donuts home. Thank you Sheila and Matt for a fine dining experience! Ciao

It’s been almost a month since my experience at this establishment, but I still feel very displeased and disappointed by the service that my party and myself received, so much so that I’m writing this review at the risk of sounding like a complete Karen. But as a preface, I 100% understand and sympathize with what the service industry is going through right now as a whole. I know everyone is short staffed and overworked… But as someone who has 6+ years of serving experience, half of which employed by a 4 DIAMOND (not star) resort, I found this “upscale dining experience” to be below average, highly disappointing, and overpriced. To set the scene: My group of 5 arrived in town on a Thursday evening and arrived at Asiago’s at almost exactly 7:00pm. It being a Thursday, they were NOT busy and there were maybe 4-6 other tables in use. After a few minutes wait, we were escorted to a 10 top in the far corner, right next to their spare chairs and vacuum cleaner, with the view of the city almost completely blocked from view by a half wall… rather than any of the various 6 tops that were set and unused. I took notice that they had a twosome set at a 6 top while there were various 2 tops available. After 10 minutes of waiting and browsing the menu, our server, who I’ll just refer to as “J” because I don’t want her to get in trouble, finally arrived with some bread and a pitcher of water and glasses, which she proceeded to fill from one end of the table and then dole out to me to distribute to my party members. We put our orders in and proceeded to chat amongst ourselves while waiting for an appetizer and food to come out. About 15 minutes after putting in our orders, some of our party members water glasses were almost empty. J came back to drop off the appetizers and asked if we would like to order any alcoholic drinks, we declined and requested more water. After 15 more minutes (30 minutes now), all of our waters were empty and she hadn’t returned. After 30 minutes (45 minutes) glasses were empty and had been for a while. We eventually had to flag down an entirely different server just to ask for some water because ours had disappeared and not come back after the appetizers were dropped off. So, after over an hour, our waitress finally reappeared and the food finally arrived. The waitress kept making small comments as she dished out our food and topped off waters trying to get us to compliment her as she served us, which makes me think that the other server we flagged down may have told her to pick up the slack, but I don’t really know. HERE is what’s really the most disappointing experience: 3/5 of us ordered the “Parmesan Crusted Alfredo”… does the picture I’ve provided have chicken that looks “crusted” in any way, shape, or form? This is literally just cheap grated Parmesan sitting on top of the chicken. And the piece of chicken itself was SO BLAND. It tasted as though there wasn’t a single sprinkle of seasoning on it. We had to LOAD our dishes with salt and pepper for it to even taste decent. Paying $21 for this felt like a huge rip off. And it was rung in as simply “Alfredo pasta, add chicken”, which makes me wonder if the item we received is even what we ordered. Overall, nothing about the experience was “upscale” as you are led to believe and you’re better off making chicken and pasta at home. I’ve also attached a picture of the lovely view we had next to our table.

It was an absolutely beautiful place with kind staff but as for quality, I practically spent 150 bucks for a liter of oil dumped on some bread. Like I understand it's an Italian restaurant but I got 3 appetizers and they were all swimming with oil to the point that its all I could taste, and I'm not even joking. My main course (5 cheese raviolli) was amazing but everything else was just dripping in oil. I feel like it wasn't worth the price 🤷‍♀️
