Looks like a nothing from the outside. In a strip mall with a Food Lion. But.... once you try the pizza and sandwiches, it will quickly become the only place to go to get New York-style pizza. The large is about the size of a wagon wheel. It is huge. The oven-baked sandwiches are great. The Greek salad is great. I can't seem to leave without buying one of their huge and delicious brownies. I have never had anything from this place that was not good and I have been going there for eight years regularly. There is an area with about 8-10 tables to eat in but a lot of their business is carry-out. I do not think that they deliver. That being said, it is well worth the time to drive there.

Hot staff, hot pizza. Don' t sleep on the Great White- you'll fall in love especially when you ask for basil.
Best pizza ever! Their large pizza is ridiculously big but in the best way! Every pizza I've tried I have to stop myself from eating way too much. Make sure to add some "love" to your order, it's a delicious spice blend that can be added and makes great pizza even better. Their subs and salads are also good but the pizza is hands down the best you will ever eat. I've picked up to go orders and eaten in and have never had bad service. Staff is always helpful and nice. Craving some JI pizza now, only wish they could deliver!
VERY GOOD ! Family just moved into town, this will be on my list every time. I wasn't sure about the place but when we went to pick up, there were another 4 or 5 that came in behind us to pick up, comforting to see locals. Some reviews I read talked about staff being rude or short, the reason although it should not be that way is that they were slammed busy ( Sunday night) I did call with a question before ordering with no issue.
Favorite pizza in Charleston area so far! Spaghetti and meatballs was awesome too.
Best Za in Charleston. I'm very biased after spending so much time in my parent's native NY. I've never had a bad experience with the employees. Everyone has always been nice. Don't forget to order the antipasta salad. Outstanding.
The pizza is HUGE!!!!!! It's 24" across. And really good!

The best on Johns Island. The best pizza you can find on Johns Island, be careful of the chicken in the calzone, sometimes it taste funny, but other than that yum

Completely surprised at the quality of my pizza. I ordered the 14" Carnivore, with love, add onion and Jalepeno. This pizza was amazing!! I had to force myself to stop eating it!! I highly recommend this establishment. I know I'll be back again. 🙂
Great Pizza. Top notch. The only thing you need to know is there is not place on site to sit and eat. Grab and go.
Went back after I said i wouldn’t, everyone deserves a second chance somehow the place won me back over my son wanted pizza and everyone was sweet.

This place is often SLAMMED. Employees work their butts off. Service is always awesome. Food quality has always been awesome. No dine in option but it's THE place to pick up a pie on Johns Island. Also one of the best cheesesteaks in town. Garlic knots and the brownie are awesome too.
I adore JI pizza. Great salads, single slice options, and amazing pies! Usually when my partner and I order a large, we have to sit the box sideways to even fit in the car! My partner likes their plain pepperoni and I love the great white and a salad! You really can't go wrong at this place.
The pizza slices here are Bigger then your head and fkn amazing!! The crust is nicely crispy and the ingredients are top shelf. I've been grabbing slices here for 12 years on lunch breaks. Just got my fav pepperoni and bacon and only paid 5.20 cash.
Another hidden gem only found in a strip mall well off the beaten path. Sold by the mega slice (1/4 pizza 5$) or full, DJ makes a crispy crust slice worth traveling for. The start with simple cheese slice and then make it custom and then pop it in the oven to crisp up the crust. 2770 Maybank Hwy, Johns Island, SC 29455 if you're within 10 miles its well worth the journey.
Loved my experience with JI Pizza and will be returning, no doubt. The pizza is delicious, easy to order and the vibes are right. Can't go wrong. Got the rancher pizza and it was really good! Had fresh tomatoes and good flavor.
The chicken parm sub might have been the worst I've ever had. The bread was soggy and the chicken was just chunks with no breading. I'd definitely return for the pizza but the sandwich was very disappointing.
Hands down the best slice in Charleston if not the whole entire freaking world. Service is great, pizza SLAPS, and prices are more than reasonable. I ate it 5 days in a row one week. Not necessarily proud of that, but in no way do I regret it. I'd do it again, watch me.
