I wasn't expecting this. An oyster bar, in the North Carolina piedmont? Riiiigghttt. . .
What a surprise! It was fantastic. Better than most seafood I've ever had at the beach. My wife had the Low Country Boil. Her only complaint was that the shrimp hadn't been peeled, but, she said they were delicious. I had the Oyster Rockers, Full Moon's version of Oysters Rockefeller. I liked these better. Succulent oysters, on a half shell, perfectly baked under a cover of spinach and cheese.
We were there Sunday evening, and what luck - Sunday is $4 Bloody Marys. Perfect. Spicy, without being overly so. Just enough bite to get your attention, and make you want more.
Great atmosphere. Guests cozy right up to the bar, where your drinks and dinner are served in no time at all. Very beach decor, but authentic, not cheesy.
I give this place 5 stars. We will be back. And, we'll bring friends.

This place is becoming our favorite seafood place. I live in Durham and my friend who lives in Jamestown prefers this place than the seafood redtsursnts in Durham. I really enjoy the food. They've got the most fresh coleslaw and very good potatoes
