In short - amazing food and drinks but the space is cramped and it was extremely hot.
I visited Forte with my young son and we had a great time - the staff was very welcoming. The food was delicious and the menu was varied so I am hoping to make it back soon. While the entrees are expensive ($30+) they also have small plates and a la carte which is more reasonable.
The downsides - I could not believe how hot the restaurant was. Possibly this was due to how packed the space is, as in my opinion there are too many tables for the space. Servers were having to call out to avoid running into each other, and I hardly had room to get in and out of my table.
The negatives are definitely minor compared to how great the food and service was, and in glad to see this downtown staple back in action!

Liked everything about this place.
Great to see an older building with new life.
Mussels app was terrific, the hot rolls were the best and our main courses were ( pork shank and Thai vegetable with shrimp) not only delicious but plentiful portions.
Restaurant is just around the corner from the Lucille Ball museum.
Strongly recommend if your in the area 👍👍👍

What a delightful surprise to find such a jewel in this small town. We have searched for fun little eateries everywhere we go in our travels. Forte amazed us with their service (Megan was awesome), their atmosphere, and every bite of our salad and mains. My husband ordered the Jambalaya and could not stop commenting on what an amazing dish it was. I ordered the Cioppino and was delighted with every bite. We can't recommend Forte more highly! We hope you love this place as much as we did!

Great little place! Cocktails: excellent. Loaded Hummus appetizer: terrific. Salmon and Rib Eye entrees: nicely done. Ambiance and service top-notch as well.

Very lovely intimate little place! The food was delicious the service was amazing, our waitress was friendly and attentive a lovely person call mom I wished I took her first name but she had on 1960s mesh black stockings ha ha! Thank you for a very lovely evening!

The food is is always phenomenal. Fresh, homemade...the menu is slightly eclectic, but something for everyone. Also, they appreciate the art of the cocktail. Great ambience, good wine selection. White tablecloth atmosphere but you can be casually dressed.

My first time having dinner here. What a great place to enjoy a steak dinner. There is a special if you eat in the Bar area one can order the Steak Special for $19.95. I got the steak dinner and Draft Beer for $19.95. The steak was delicious. The Restaurant staff is very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Restaurant menu prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is laid-back.
