In short - amazing food and drinks but the space is cramped and it was extremely hot.
I visited Forte with my young son and we had a great time - the staff was very welcoming. The food was delicious and the menu was varied so I am hoping to make it back soon. While the entrees are expensive ($30+) they also have small plates and a la carte which is more reasonable.
The downsides - I could not believe how hot the restaurant was. Possibly this was due to how packed the space is, as in my opinion there are too many tables for the space. Servers were having to call out to avoid running into each other, and I hardly had room to get in and out of my table.
The negatives are definitely minor compared to how great the food and service was, and in glad to see this downtown staple back in action!
We had a wonderful evening- delicious food and incredible cocktails. Can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend.

Great little local restaurant. The steak and beer option at the bar is the best. $19 for a sirloin, mashed potatoes, salad and a beer. Sushi is some of the best in the area. Nick makes killer drinks. One of my favorite restaurants.
Fabulous food. And large portions too. The chefs here really do great things with seasonal foods.

Mussels app was terrific, the hot rolls were the best and our main courses were ( pork shank and Thai vegetable with shrimp) not only delicious but plentiful portions.
Restaurant is just around the corner from the Lucille Ball museum.
Strongly recommend if your in the area 👍👍👍

What a delightful surprise to find such a jewel in this small town. We have searched for fun little eateries everywhere we go in our travels. Forte amazed us with their service (Megan was awesome), their atmosphere, and every bite of our salad and mains. My husband ordered the Jambalaya and could not stop commenting on what an amazing dish it was. I ordered the Cioppino and was delighted with every bite. We can't recommend Forte more highly! We hope you love this place as much as we did!

I called ahead to place a reservation. When I arrived they had tables set and clean floors. They had asked me if I had a reservation and directed me to my reserved table. One thing I think needs attention at this restaurant is the amount of menus I read. I had 4 menus on my table. It felt like a library reading all of them.
I ordered the curry chicken pot pie. It was SO delicious. Puff pastry on top was flaky and the curry sauce was just the right amount of spiciness. Absolutely delicious.
Another thing is that 2 servers didn't know what to recommend. Most likely because the menu changed 2 days before. Please make sure the staff try the food so they know what to suggest. The restaurant was very clean and the menus also had reasonable prices. Desserts were also very delicious and Across the board I'd say excellent portions and prices...
The food is is always phenomenal. Fresh, homemade...the menu is slightly eclectic, but something for everyone. Also, they appreciate the art of the cocktail. Great ambience, good wine selection. White tablecloth atmosphere but you can be casually dressed.
