Easily Vegan Friendly
BEST meals I have had in a restaurant in 5 years. I travel frequently for my charity work and could eat anywhere I want. I tried Apna because they appeared to have several vegan options. I arrived and the Indian-Pakistani restaurant was tucked in a grocery store. You can eat in (6?) tables, or carry out like I did. $11 for a decent sized meal. I got the Vegetable Vindaloo for lunch and it was SO GOOD I went back the next day and got it again for lunch and Vegetable Jalfrezi for dinner!! (Naan is not vegan so got it with rice). I got some vegetable samosas, fresh fried, 2 for $3 the first day and then some pre-cooked ones at the grocery store the next day for $1 each.
I NEVER give 5 stars because 99.9% of the restaurants I would not care if I ever visited again. THIS WAS GOOD FOOD and was SO EASY to eat vegan. Next time I am in town I will ONLY eat here.
Delicious food. At a great price. the samosa filling was the best ever, yummy korma and okra.
First timer, now new fan. We went there after their lunch buffet was over but they told us we could still get the buffet but no new items will be added because the left overs, the employees would finish. We didnt mind eating left overs so we stayed. There were not as many options as other Middle Eastern buffets however the quality of the food was awesome for the choices they offered. The owned even made us fresh nan which were soft and tastey. Most places, their nan were basically just pita bread that were reheated but I think this place makes their own. I will definitely recommend this place if you care about the quality of the food more so than the quantity. They do have menus which you can order from as well.
This place has some of the best Indian food in jax. All of the dishes are phenomenal! All the staff are very nice and friendly, the waiter is a little shy, and the head chef is great. He is very open and expressive and really takes pride in his work. He even showed my wife, my mother and I how naan is made! I will admit the first time I came here it felt little creepy because so few people were here, but over time this place has really grown on me. And most importantly the food is great.
Excellent. Spicy and aromatic. The restaurant is fairly basic, no beer served, soda comes in cans, but the food more than compensates. Any Brits missing their late night curries should try this place.
Great food and service. I love the lunch buffets and their rice pudding!
Great food. Apna has a great selection of dishes and very friendly staff. I was initially concerned about the timing of the arrival of our dishes. After the arrival of my friend's order of Lumpia, Very Good, I had to wait a little bit for my Milkfish to arrive. Just at the point of growing concern my dish arrived and boy was it worth the little extra wait. A light, mild fish was wrapped in foil and baked with tomatoes, garlic, seasoning, just fantastic.
After dinner I spent a few minutes speaking with a lovely lady named Jo who described some of the more popular dishes from the front cover. Let just say I'll be back to try more and with their very reasonable prices, I will be returning often.
Excellent!. Great food all around and a must-visit for anyone living in the area who's a fan of this region's food.
Istanbul Grill & Bakery. The dishes have good taste, nice presentation and good quantity. The price is reasonable, the place is amazing. We did a tour after eating the whole place and they have everything! My recommendation is to try Turkish food and drink, excellent! Definitely We will come back
Paid close to $60, quantity compared against price!

I ordered and paid for the food myself and I have no gain in writing this review.. its solely for information purpose only.
I'm not very familiar with this cuisine, but it's amazing. So flavorful. The samosas were amazing and the paneer was so good. I enjoyed everything so much.
Just tried mosaic cake from Istanbul grill and bakery and it was so delicious, lahmacun also as you know, perfect. I like the vibe too, clean and fresh place.
The goat karahi was a bit greasy and there wasn't a lot of meat on the bones, but it did taste good along with everything else I had gotten.
Very tasty no frills Indian food. Delicious.
It's attached to an authentic (considering place was full of Indonesian, Turkish, and various Middle Eastern ppl) middle eastern grocery store. Legit butcher. Great fresh local and exotic produce
has alot of things you won't find at any other stores.
Also has an amazing Turkish bakery at the next counter over.
The new location is huge!! They have so many options and vegetables are fresh. I have always bought meat from apna Bazaar and now they have a separate a section for meat(4th image attached). I have recommended this to my friends and would definitely visit Apna again.
Food is good. Had take out so can't sayuch about sitting area. But by looks of it I am not keen to sit and eat there in future.
Best Spicy Dal Tadka EVER. Bigger and nicer dining area than expected, but this food would make great take out, too. Love that this place is near a grocery store, you can do everything in one spot.
Excellent Indian food! Great prices. It's tiny, and connected to the Indian grocery store... very few tables inside. It would be best to order take out or delivery from here. I ordered the mixed grill, tandoori, and garlic naan. All were delicious. I want to try the masala, korma and vindaloo next time.
