Our family love this place. Feels like home. All staff are truly accommodating and kind, foods are undeniably palatable and affordable, and the place is always clean.
They have a variety of food to choose from. You can get breakfast all day as well. Their cheese fries with bacon are awesome. Pancakes, Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, Gravy and biscuits, Hamburgers... Everything we have ordered, we have not been disappointed!
Good ol'fashion diner, with all day breakfast, and great lunch and dinner specials. The atmosphere was reminiscent of the old diner days that for the most part have gone by, but not here. We were met with friendly faces and great food. Also, don't forget to have dessert.
The Kettle Diner is a wonderful restaurant that is a MUST visit during your time in Jacksonville. The people, food, and service is beyond amazing. I was very skeptical when I first came here but after coming and trying out the service and food I was in love! The people here love their jobs, very interactive and knowledgeable on what they are serving. Great interactions every time. The quality of food has always been 5 out of 5. I would highly encourage everyone to come and try the Kettle Diner once in their lifetime. Again 5 out of 5 stars from me.
Great food service and price. The staff could not have been more wonderful. I am upset it took us so long to make it to Kettle. Will be back for sure.
We parked & People were coming out as well as going in. We enter and the place is full of folks, plus more folks are coming in. So we know we made a good decision and are in the right place. Even though it's busy we are seated right away and our drink orders are taken immediately. It was great overall. Those are some of the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. It wasn't just our server that was a ACE, I saw all the other servers and workers being great at their job. Can't go wrong with a place that has a picture of Don Knotts (RF) on its wall, either.
My first time with the family here. Food was great but the service was amazing. My wife makes a better chicken parmigiana since she uses an entire breast. The chicken was cut and small but otherwise with the pasta, very filling. They have the 2nd best Mac & Cheese of Jacksonville and it was delicious. The salad was the freshest out of all the places and steak houses I’ve been to. Please order the cheese fries; wow, you will see why!!!
I can’t believe this is my first time here. All I can think of right now is all the times I could have come here instead of IHOP, Denny’s or Waffle House. The food was amazing. I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. I definitely recommend this place.
Great service, extensive menu. We had the daily special which was meatloaf with two sides, Chicken parmasan with spaghetti and garlic bread. This place fills up fast. They serve breakfast all day which is rare. So stop on by and check them out. Came back for breakfast, it was excellent.
Going to be our new favorite breakfast spot... Wonderful experience... Food was so good... Staff was very kind... Looking forward to going back soon...
