My favorite local Mexican food. Love the CBG bowl and beef empanadas!!! The salsa bar is delicious and fresh. We drive 20+ minutes to eat here at least once a week. Highly recommend this place if your a fan of fresh and local Mexican food.

I don’t say this very lightly: best burrito I’ve ever had and best $1 cookie I’ve ever had. The cost was very fair for the quality. It’s like if you took a Moe’s and made it whatever the second tier above a Chipotle would be. Chips are nice and thick almost like a pita chip. Salsa is pretty standard but fresh. I was blown away by the food. Will definitely be coming back for a while.
this was our first visit, we’re glad we tried it. The hostess explained the process to us. We had House Burritos, chicken and beef. We have very selective tastes. And this was excellent, excellent quality, excellent flavor excellent , customer service and clean. It was quiet the evening we visited, plus raining.

We avoid greasy fatty and salty foods. We didn’t eat a lot of chips, because we weren’t sure how they were prepared. But the Burrito was perfect. The guacamole was not overly salty. We like it that way! I know some people relish the idea of grease dripping out of their taco. We do not. So this was perfect for us! As you can see on the paper, no grease. But loaded with flavor.
Really great casual lunch spot. They have a variety of options on the menu that are vegetarian, pescatarian, and vegan friendly, and they allow you to customize your order. The food came out hot and fresh, and was very filling. I customized the Blackened shrimp burrito and I could taste the quality ingredients they used and how exceptionally flavorful it was. The interior is very clean as were the bathrooms. It gets very busy- they open at 11 and the noon lunch crowd gathered quickly. There is 2 hour street parking directly across the restaurant.
Pro's: the burrito was definitely fresh and there is tasty pico, salsa available. If you want a burrito heavy on black beans & rice then this is for you. The wings were ok not great, but couldn’t tell that they were smoked just taste like fried wings. However, the spicy ranch was great. Not a fan of the S’mores cookies. If I go again, I'd try their tacos or something else.
Really good food. The location was ideal for lunch today. No one was there when I went today. There's a variety of options, but I went with the blackened shrimp tacos. The restaurant was clean. They had a new style of soda fountain when I went to get water. I'd never seen anything like it. It's definitely beach themed. There were surf boards throughout the restaurant. The restroom was clean. The staff were really nice also. My taco had avocado and avocado crema on it as well as cabbage. It was really good. The chips were very crunchy too. They had a salsa bar where you could select whatever kind of salsa you wanted. I didn't utilize it, but it looked nice. Definitely would go back again to try a burrito.
Burrito wasn’t so bad. Chef was nice too & also the girl at the cash register. But old lady gave a weird look while handing the food to me. I like one salsa out of 4. Parking is on side. Few spots. Chips were okay.
I love this place and it’s one of my go-to spots to pick up from so i figured it was time to review! I crave their chips, queso and all the salsas. Their tomatillo is one of the freshest- peppery, citrusy, and delish.
I’ve had a few menu items and all have been great, but I’ve been hooked on the 904. The flavors and homemade pickles are where it’s at. It’s a BBQ meets texmex reunion.
They also have great prices and service! If you haven’t, try them out!
JAX-MEX! Had the house tacos (steak) and chips with queso. Deliscioso! The chips are crispy and not greasy. The queso is cheesy goodness. Consistently high quality food, served fast. The restaurant and rest rooms are clean. San Marco is one of the hippest areas of Jacksonville Florida. Vintage architecture is all around. Go for a stroll after your meal and check out the sights.
Great vibe, chicken was juicy and well seasoned, wings are grilled but CRISPY! Loaded tots are tight, 10/10 would eat again.
I had a veggie burrito and my wife had the blackened shrimp - both amazing!!!!! The location, price and laid back feel is great!! They also do takeout! The burrito is just different than a standard burrito place. We will be regulars!!
