Absolutely fantastic!!! Buffalo chicken pizza was yummy! Cannolli were almost as good as my homemade.

Fantastic food, friendly service, excellent atmosphere. Were very accommodating and helped move furniture so I could get my wheelchair into a table comfortably.
It's an upscale pizza joint. Pizza is good, ambience is great!! Thursday is $1 cheese slices, $1 Yuengling, $1 house wines. Love their Thursday's...lol. Service is always fast. Great place.

Mediocre pizza/great salads. The pizza is just ok at Al's but the anti pasti salad is one of my favorites in town. Service is usually good. My partner has had a few of the pasta entrees. They are a bit small in my opinion and I think they should have a standard basket of bread brought to each table.After all, they aren't just a pizza joint. The side salad is large enough for two and has always been served fresh.
Just ok. The pizza is mediocre. Nothing to remember it by. I tried the greek salad for lunch as sometimes pizza places have great greek salads....It was not good.
Busy but good. Food was good but boy was it busy.
Decent Pizza. The pizza here is decent, good crust, and decent toppings choices.
Good Pizza. Really good and consistent pizza. I wouldn't rave about it, but I also go there to get some good pizza (if you know what I mean).

My daughter said “The pizza is so good that I want to eat the crust!” And that’s from a girl that doesn’t like crust. So we give the pizza 10/10. The salad however was disappointing. Had an Al’s Choice salad and I don’t know, something was off. I was offered a to-go box after only taking a few bites and telling them it did not taste well. I don’t mind not getting a replacement but would have been better service to be offered an option.
I was hungry late night, and decided to go here at 8pm. Unfortunately i didn’t know they closed at 9pm. However, there was not an issue and I was not feeling rushed. The pizza was good, however we needed to let it sit, due to the toppings falling off when picking it up. The sub was amazing and is perfect for a single lunch if you come here alone. Overall, great customer service by the staff here, I just wish the pizza wasn’t as thin as it is.
This was our first visit and we really enjoyed everything about the place. The atmosphere was very pleasing and relaxing. The staff was very professional and informative. The food speaks for itself - DELICIOUS!!! I learned that there are several locations in Jacksonville, but this is the closest to where we live and we fully intend on visiting wherever we have the desire for pizza!
The absolute BLT pizza, it’s honestly delicious. Portions are huge and the staff is extremely friendly and courteous
We were looking for a place get some Chicken Caesar wraps and decided to stop in and try Al's Pizza. We were not expecting Panini like wraps but it worked well. We enjoyed the taste and the food came out quick and hot. The Garlic bread was fairly basic. Melted cheese on ciabatta style bread with maybe some oregano. No taste of garlic at all. Marinara was really good. Meatballs were piping hot and excellent. Price was a little high, but not really an issue. We will be back to try more dishes.
Had a good experience. Went on a Sunday evening, Restaurant was kinda slow but we were taken care of in a friendly manner. Pizza is absolutely amazing too. Can't wait to visit again
It appears that the ongoing Pizza wars are shifting from price value to quality.
If this is the case, then Al's Pizza will come out of this as a winner.
I can't think of another Pizza location in the greater Jacksonville area that does as good as a job with quality Pizza, ingredients and underlying price as this restaraunt does.
This is in addition to the other fine Italian inspired dishes that they serve such as stuffed ravioli marinara and 🍆 parmesan, amongst others.
They also have a small bar which I think brings a bistro feel into this establishment
which was started in 1988.
It's clearly a clean, well maintained and lighted facility with plenty of safe parking.
Very good for nightime pizza runs.
Staff very helpful and they'll tell you when your order will be ready.

Went here for lunch with My Wife the other day. She decided to have the stuffed shells and I decided to have the all meat calzone. Both were very good. Our server did a very food job as well. Will return here again.
My husband and I ordered delivery at our hotel. The hostess who took our phone order was pleasant, our food was delivered in good time, and everything was delicious. We will definitely order from Al's again when we're back in town ✨
Ive been here a couple of times for lunch mostly pizza or calzone to go orders. This time for lunch I decided to Dine in and get the Chicken Caesar Wrap. It was really good and I also like that it was toasted and slightly pressed like a panini. I do want to try a few entrees on the menu so of course I'll be back. The waiters are very kind and friendly. And the wait was not long for my dine in meal
