The Parlour

The food was good and they give you a ton if ice cream. The bowls are huge. I watched many people walk out without finishing all of their ice cream. Also the service was ok that's why I'm rating it 3 stars. There was 8 of us and it took well over 45 minutes to get everything we ordered. Also we only received 1 refill and that was about the time we were leaving. Things I would recommend are the peanut butter cup sundae and the fries. Both of those were delicious.

Here in Michigan for a temporary duty. This spot was highly recommended by other co-workers! First visit was a disappointment! The pictures looked great on Yelp but actually look sub-standard in person. Looked dirty. We stood at the take-out line for an hour. Four sets of customers left because the line was taking so long. The employees were all young teens. Only one was taking customer orders upfront (Joshua). He did an awesome job. The manager was at the register and she saw a long line but didn’t offer help or apologize for the wait and looong line! Never seen such a terrible manager. Options: so many options on the menu. There’s something for everyone in my opinion. Ice Cream: got the Snicker Parfait. Soooo good. But I think they overloaded the caramel and fudge. Still good though. My friend got Caramel Carabou, I tasted it it was so tasty. If you like Caramel that’s the one for you. They received two stars because manager was terrible and we waited over an hour. Manager did not acknowledge customers in line. Maybe better next time.

Definitely a unique place with very large servings (especially the ice cream). Everything is delicious and they have a ton of different flavors. We didn't dare try the scoop challenge (21 scoops, if you eat them all its free), especially if the scoops were as large as the ones that came for our kids.

Nice old fashioned type ice cream shop/ restaurant. The ice cream scoops are HUGE. I got 2 scoops bcus I thought it was regular size. They give u enough ice cream that you can share it with 3 other ppl. The staff seemed to be nice and friendly. Not sure I would ever be back in this area again but I would go if I was near.

Haven't been here in a few years. Have been trying new places lately. Decided to give the parlor a try since we haven't been here in a few years. My son had chill cheese fries the chill had no meat looks like it was from a can and it was runny. My fries was soggy looked like they was baked in an oven. The hot fudge brownie was gross I was expecting it to be like it was when I would come here back in early 1998. The hot fudge was more like a pudding. It wasn't hot at all and the brownie was hard. If your coming here I would eat elsewhere and stick to the grab and go ice cream in the front.
