This place is a 5 star in a 1 star town. The entrance is awesome with a good exterior and cool fireplace. That is where the awesome ends. The interior closely resembles a military chow hall, except they’ve thrown some hobby lobby fish camp signs up. The cheese sticks were frozen from freezer. The coleslaw was some weird green gelatin mess that was just inedible. It was truly disgusting! Cokes come from a can and are poured in a cup with adds for Chico’s bail bonds on them lol. The steak was good. The salad was average (kinda hard to mess that up). The scallops were small and were overpowered by old bay seasoning. Basically, it’s a place to eat if you’ve got no time to drive to something better.

Great family place. Husband ordered the catfish and loved it. I had grilled popcorn shrimp and onion rings. The batter on the onion rings was light so you could taste the onion and not just batter. Coleslaw was delicious, hush puppies yummy and the homemade strawberry shortcake was the perfect way to end the meal. This is a family run restaurant and you can tell they truly appreciate their customers. Service was great and everyone was so friendly. Very very casual atmosphere. We arrived around 4:45/5:00pm Friday and just beat the rush. They were BUSY by the time was finished our meal and left. This is a favorite with locals. We will definitely be back.

Overall the food was delicious except for onion rings we received as we were among the early 4 PM customers and these must have been left over from the day before. The whole catfish my wife had were nowhere as good as my catfish filets, which were hot and larger than I expected. Excellent service by our waitress Amanda but it took a very long time to pay our check up front. One of the employees said "We're swamped and understaffed. I'm not answering another phone call. They WERE swamped and understaffed based also on how long we had to wait on our order to be taken and food to be delivered. Practically every seat & table were full, and this is a HUGE building!

Staff are super friendly, quick and efficient. The food was great and at a good price. I had the popcorn shrimp with baked potato, which was delicious! Others had shrimp, mozzarella sticks, chopped steak with onion gravy. Everyone responded that their meal was delicious! We'll gladly return!

My wife and I went to this restaurant for her birthday. Amanda was our server. She is fun, down to earth, and an attentive server. We shared a fried pickle appetizer and a seafood platter including fish, shrimp, scallops, deviled crab, and hush puppies. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Stopped in for dinner Saturday evening. There were 7 of us in our party. The catfish filets were tough and over cooked along with no seasoning, the fries were cold and the cheese grits were just as bad as the unsalted/unseasoned catfish. My niece order the Ribeye that they came and told us they ran out of. The other steaks that my sister in law and niece order looked horrible. They said they tasted like they looked. The service provided by the older waitress was good but the young girl was rude and very unhelpful. I will never go back. We were so disappointed that we talked about it all of the way back to Toombs County.
