Review Atlantic's Edge Restaurant - Islamorada

We had the Blue Swimmers crab dip as an appetizer. It was fantastic. I had the Swordfish for dinner along with a glass of ice wine. The two complimented each other very well. Our server, Claire, made our dinning experience that much more enjoyable. She offered some recommendations, was tentative, and very sweet. If you get the chance to have dinner here, ask for Claire to be your waitress and I’m also willing to guarantee that you will have a wonderful evening. 😊

My husband and I decided to try Atlantic's Edge for our Anniversary. Our waitress was very quiet but warmed up by the end. We had the Churrasco skirt steak, Garden salad with grilled chicken, Mocha Martini, cappuccino and an amazing dessert. Everything was wonderful and would definitely return. The view was perfect. If you're in a rush this isn't the restaurant for you because it does take a while for everything. The Millers...

Absolutely lovely!! Great atmosphere. Fantastic views from outdoor dining. Food was fantastic! We tried many different things and all were good. The mango mojito is delicious! Service was a few notches short of a 5 star review some of the time. Didn’t seem overly organized because two waiters chose to argue over our table right next to our table haha the server we did end up with was great!! We would love to come back on our next trip and know we will enjoy everything again.

The restaurant is inside the iconic Cheeca Lodge & Spa. When you are escorted to the table there is a choice to sit ON THE BEACH under the palms overlooking the ocean - there are birds, boats, jet skis, people walking the pier, lounging on the beach and playing and relaxing. It’s a picture postcard spot. I paid $31 for a delicious Mahi Mahi Blackened and placed over a huge pile of fresh fresh field greens with sliced baby tomatoes. It was sooo good!

Such a Beautiful setting, and the food is delicious! For breakfast, The Brioche French Toast is a great pick, and for dinner, the mahi fish dish was excellent. All fresh ingredients in both the meals and drinks-Quick service and friendly staff. Truly a special place.

The atmosphere, the hotel, the service, all of this impeccable. I regret not choosing this hotel for my stay, the place I was staying at was disappointing in every way…but this place took away my hunger and sadness 10 out of 10. My server Paula deserves a raise!

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. Wife and I went deep sea fishing in the morning. We caught some Mahi, Tuna and Triple Tail. Brought it to the restaurant. They said they will happily cook it for us. Boy did they do a job! Cooked blackened, fried and seared. Everything was delicious. Also, the sushi chef made us our own poke bowl and sushi with our tuna. It was amazing! Beautiful atmosphere and excellent service. Will definitely be back when in the keys! Thanks to the amazing staff, chefs and manager!

Atlantics Edge is a fantastic dining experience! We had a party of 10 to celebrate a birthday and Rolando took care of us. The service was excellent; the atmosphere was beautiful, and the food was delicious! Highly recommend the Brussel sprouts starter and key lime pie for dessert! Sooooo good!

So we came here for dinner on the beach and not really expecting much more than that. Well we certainly were pleased with what we found. The grounds are special, the view of the ocean is breathtaking and the food was way better than we expected. Overall this a must do dinner spot in the upper keys.

The best restaurant in Cheeca Lodge. We were at Cheeca for a week and dined here at least once a day. The breakfasts and lunches were the best. Just make sure you sit outside. The manager stopped by at our table a few times and she was extremely friendly. Even though we couldn't eat meat, there were plenty of seafood options available.

Great experience - one of the only places around that takes reservations as well which is a huge plus for us! Fine dining experience either on the patio or directly on the beach with live music and a very friendly wait staff. This restaurant is kid-friendly for all those parents looking for a nice dinner - if that bothers you like some of these other ignorant reviewers then you probably won’t be happy anywhere you go and should just try to loosen up a little 🤷🏼‍♀️ Price is what is expected for fine dining but the meal was honestly the best I had during our trip to Islamorada.

The food was mostly hit and a little miss. The crab cake appetizer was AMAZING. Like probably the best cran cake I've ever had. My husband got the seared shrimp and scallops and they were also good. I had the snapper, which was just ok. It was just a little bland for me. It wasn't bad, per se, but it wasn't good either. My only real complaint was the service. I know and understand "Island time" but this was well beyond having a laid back attitude. Our waiter would just disappear for long stretches. It became ridiculous at some points. I would've gotten dessert but it took him SO LONG to come back to our table after the entrée that I just wanted the check so we could .

Fresh and delicious food! Service was good. I tried about 5 of the sides. The lobster Mac and cheese was a hit.

is a piece of heaven for anyone who enjoys a relaxed, informal and natural setting, especially if you like to enjoy it with your pampered pooch. The cottages are clean and comfortable with the basic necessities if you want to eat in, including an outdoor grill. Beautiful views and a private beach with options to sit in the sun and shade. Bikes, kayaks and floats are available. The tiki hut, hammocks, and large ice maker are great bonuses. Sunsets from the resort are not to be missed! All staff are efficient and friendly. Jane Amador, the office manager, is very responsive and helpful This place is a true gem in Key West. I couldn't believe I've been to KW so many times and not been to Ruby's. Firstly, an amazing place to visit as a family and feed these giant tarpon.... what an amazing experience, and the best part is the entry for everyone. We didn't eat at the restaurant as we just stopped by to check it out, the bar was packed, we put some dollar bills on the wall? They were doing a bunch of snorkeling trips right off the dock not sure of the cost. They have their own merchandise to sell and the entire property is beautiful and there is so much to explore.

Jacob was our waiter. It was our 18 year anniversary. His service was outstanding. From his recommendations to his attention to detail. Thank you for making our anniversary special.

Great view, good food. Nice dinner good service. I had a special request for no salt and they were great to not add salt to anything I ate, very accommodating. The food was very good and the service was great. Not rushed but enough time to enjoy your meal and awesome key lime tart. The reviews are old, I was pleased with everything.

No longer open to those not staying at the resort. Tried to visit on May 25, 2014, but were told at the front gate that none of the restaurants were open to the general public. We asked when this took effect, and were told "yesterday."

WORST RESTAURANT EVER. This place is the most HORRENDOUS, HORRIBLE, RUDEST, IGNORANT, EGOTISTICAL restaurant I have EVER made the mistake of dining at in my LIFE. My mom & I grabbed a table for two outside at the tiki bar after waiting for 20 minutes. Waiters and bartenders didn't come over to bring us menus or even ACKNOWLEDGE our presence for over 25 minutes!!!!! I am not enhancing or exaggerating this. The waiter wouldn't even look our way and was busy taking care of the table further up from ours. I walked up to the bar and tried to speak to the younger ugly ego-crazed bartender and HE COMPLETELY IGNORED ME!!!! I then snapped at the other bartender behind the bar and scolded him letting him know we have been sitting here for almost a half-hour with NO service or acknowledgment. He then gave us menus. The drinks were good but over 10$+ per drink in a plastic skinny cup decorated with fruit on the sides. RIP OFF. The only saving grace that I loved were their grilled jerk wings with pickled peppers and blue cheese dip. It was amazing and the best grilled jerked wings I've ever had. Juicy, perfectly grilled but you only get roughly 6 on a plate for an outrageous price yet again. Other than finally getting menus and food, we were neglected and ignored the entire time.
We had breakfast here one morning too inside, and our island waiter was extremely egotistical and on some sort of power trip yet AGAIN. WHAT IS WITH THIS PLACE?? He didn't properly serve our table, and was rude to my mother when she asked for a second pot of hot water and a fresh tea bag. He told her "WE NEVER GET ANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE WATER NOT BEING HOT". HOW RUDE. Women are everywhere with thongs showing under their cover-ups, balloon lips, cleavage is hanging out everywhere, its like I'm dining at a swinger's resort not a family friendly restaurant. Its not the CHEECA lodge hotel & restaurant its the BUTT CHEEK lodge hotel & restaurant with rude, neglectful, ignorant employees and the worst service I have ever experienced in my life. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS PLACE. The hotel is just as bad. Don't let it fool you.

BLECK!. The worst food and service in a HIGHLY rated resort.
Service, taste and quality missing, but the worst is the management. The manager is one of those key swingers that you have seen parodied in movies and on TV restaurant makeover shows. Thinks he knows the business but it all smoke and mirrors. Kind of cocky and arrogant and false warmth and hospitality. We at dinner at the restaurant and then later sat next to him at the bar Pierre's across the street later. He spoke so terribly of the guests at the hotel and Cheeca management that we said we would never eat at any of the restaurants at Cheeca again, he didn't recognize us from dinner only an hour prior. We had a home in Islamorada and are down here 4-6 times a year but get mistaken as tourists all the time and have seen this treatment at a lot of the restaurants in this area....shame on you!

Poor service and questionable quality if you find yourself in Cheeca suggest you stick to the excelent bar menu until they have sorted out the menu and service at atlantic edge. Mains were not as described service was all over place and the third course options were pure dinner.
