Instruments all over the walls, friendly faces behind the counter, and delicious food made fresh from local sources (with a whole map on the wall if you are curious where your eggs were laid this morning). If you have the time and funds passing through, Definitely stop in. Fast service, helpful and charismatic server with the perfect balance of checking on us and leaving us to enjoy our food.

Rare Earth is an adorable, tucked away café in Ishpeming. The atmosphere is amazing and owner Dylan is incredible. He is super sweet and makes sure you're taken care of. They have a full menu with hot drinks and desserts. We had the 3-meat Burrito, the Chicken, Bacon, Ranch panini, hot apple cider, and pear cheesecake bars. All of which was absolutely delicious. Big thanks to Dylan and his crew for making it a great experience. Rare Earth is definitely a place to check out if you're going through Ishpeming. 10/10 *chef's kiss* recommend

This place was recommended by a local and thank G-d because it's some of the best food we've ever had. All locally sourced and the owner/chef is brilliant. I had the banana nut chocolate chip french toast and my partner had the Big Fat (a perfectly flaky croissant sandwich with eggs, cheese, and your choice of sausage/bacon/ham)-- both were fantastic. The potatoes were cooked to perfection and served with a delicious garlic aoli. Oh! And the jams were amazing: spiced pear, lilac, and/or raspberry...all yummy! Already trying to figure out when we can get back here to try more of the menu!! We enjoyed the food so much we forgot to take pictures but holy wow, can't recommend this place highly enough!

Head Chef Dylan is running quite the business here at Rare Earth Goods Cafe. We were passing through town on vacation and were met with extremely friendly service and lovely suggestions. The atmosphere is so charming and makes you feel like you're being welcomed into someone's home. His homemade lilac syrup is amazing. Cookie was great, too. I would recommend going for 2 shots in an iced latte, as just one was slightly weak. My fault though, as Dylan did offer the 2nd shot for free. Check this place out.

Great local spot! Small shop with local goods and food items for sale. Then the cafe has great food for on the go or to sit down and order. Breakfast and lunch is where it's at! They also host local music nights occasionally as well. Well worth checking out!

The food was heart-warming and delicious! Fluffy pancake, scrumptious veggie scramble and juicy and crispy sausage — what more can I ask for? Friendly service and vibe is homey yet creative. Highly recommend this place for breakfast and brunch!

Exactly the kind of place we hope to find while traveling. Great food, staff, atmosphere, music, etc. We've been twice for breakfast. The eggs are well prepared, the bacon crispy and the Tuscan potatoes are terrific. Ask for the garlic aioli as an extra condiment for dipping the potatoes. We also liked the blueberry pancake special. The paninis look great, but we haven't been for lunch yet.
