Jasper Ridge Brewery

I go up to Marquette annually because the UP is absolutely gorgeous, and I like to explore new sights and sounds. I went here with some friends from Milwaukee - we know our beer and bar food. For food, we got a sampling of a bit of everything: buffalo chicken flatbread, cudighi sliders, and fried mushrooms. Everything was bursting with flavor. The mushrooms had the same juiciness as a perfectly fried chicken thigh. The cudighi had several aromatics that sets it apart from others in the area. The beers were also fantastic. Between the three of us we tried half of their late summer drafts. One that stood out was the cherry wheat ale. Wisconsin prides itself on its ales and the cherries from Door County. The front end had a pleasant punch of cherry, then right before it started to get cloying, it leveled out with this amazing wheat taste that evolved over your pallet. Atmospherically, it doesn't stand out much. It kind of looks like a Bud Light commercial. However, the simple layout makes it very easy to see across the entire joint, making it really easy to get the attention of servers.

They have wonderful and engaging staff who are always willing to help and talk with you about anything!! Their food is great and they have absolutely amazing beer on tap that they brew on the premises!! This is a great place to go anytime you are thirsty or hungry or both!! Great job , we will definitely be back!! 😁
