Some time back Pat and I made a small tour of Wanamaker eating at Extraordinary Pizza and Wheatley’s. We had heard of The Ordinary but never got around to going there. Last week our server at Rebar made a pitch for us to give it a try. He is a night-time cook there and told us they offered more than pizza.
It was great, tried accidentally, it wasn't planned like that, but was great
I Nearly ate two slices!
Meat is good and flavor too, however the base was king of hard to bit, so you ends up bringing the cheese and the meat only and leaving the base
It was good thought
Decent pizza just outside South East Indy loop in Wanamaker!. Started out picking up my Dad to take out for a late breakfast during the week. He knew I hadn't tried this place as yet and talked me into doing a pizza. No regrets. This place has been on my wishlist for quite sometime and glad we went here. We arrived early thinking they were open for breakfast but that was only on Saturday/Sunday, it was Monday. We drove around for awhile and arrived back right at 10:30 opening time and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The breadsticks were absolutely fantastic. Cheese dip was very good with a bite as I like. Didn't include any pics since we scarfed them down and forgot to take pics of those... The pizza lunch specials were the 7" pizzas and remembered to include pics of those since they were just out of the oven and very hot to eat at first! The crust does taste freshly made and very good! Not in my top 10 of pizzas but in my top 5 and will certainly visit this place again when passing through or my Dad talks me out of a late breakfast again!! ;)
Enjoy!
Decent pizza and big, but not as good as the Xtraordinary and pricier.
So...we took a coworker here for a going away lunch. I heard the Pizza was great, bit I opted for the Chicken Philly instead .with onion rings and bread pudding for desert. Excellent! ALL of it. NBO is an out of the way spot, which is cool. Go early for lunch, around 11-11:30!
Average look, great pizza. This is not an upscale establishment...this is a place for good "pie".
They also have a good beer selection . Bells two-hearted for instance.
Would drive a long way for this pizza.
Their pizza may not be for everyone. It's heavy, full of calories, and covered in cheese. But above all, it's delicious, AND affordable which is more than most places offer.
Pizza was awesome! They now have my business.
Good grub. The pizza here is top notch, breaded tenderloin is a real winner also. And they have a great breakfast, but for some reason, they don't offer pancakes. This is a must try even if you have to drive a little to get there.Don't expect to see a fancy shiny place when you go though. The inside is, to put it nicely very dated and cramped. The parking is not good, and by all means don't park in the garage's lot next door, even if it is closed,or you risk getting towed.
Decent pizza, lots of microbrews, horrible salad bar.
