THE best place on the Monon in Broad Ripple. Dog friendly, great staff! There is plenty of indoor outdoor seating. Also a great place to rent for parties. Great BBQ and Cocktails. You gotta hit this place if you are in town.
A rustic feel with a bit of country at this BBQ house located off the Monon trail in Broadripple. Greeted with a friendly smile and good service. Inside was very nice, but on a beautiful evening why not enjoy their patio. Strings of lights overhead, the sound of music in the background a perfect place to enjoy your meal with a cold drink. I suggest trying their 2 meat plate with 2 sides which runs around 20.00 The pork roast was delicious 😋 you can taste the smoke in every bite. The Hoosier Hot sausage was Smokey and slightly spicy. The collard greens suprised me with a sweet and tangy flavor. Tots were seasoned with a pepper seasoning. Finally a delicious tall west coast IPA to pair with it. A Sunday made perfect for family or friends to enjoy, with @halfliter_bbq by your side! They offer family-sized meals for approximately 8 to 10 people, and the best part is, you can place your order online and pick it up. We opted for The Willie combo featuring Brisket and Ribs, along with sides like 4 Cheese Mac, Texas Chili, Potato Salad, and Verde Rice. Everything was absolutely AMAZING!!! 🥩🍴💖
I’ve eaten here multiple times with friends and family and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in Indy. The food is delicious. I highly recommend the brisket queso as a starter and my husband and I always split the two meat combo platter. The portions are generous and the pulled pork is some of the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is unmatched. It’s cozy cabin vibes yet still fun and energetic! It’s perfect for a dinner with family or getting drinks with friends. The service is super fast and friendly, we’ve never waited longer than 15-20 minutes for our food. If you’re looking for fun vibes with delicious food and drinks, I would wholeheartedly recommend Half Liter!
Genuine 5/5 all the way around!! The food was absolutely amazing, the brisket was so tender and flavorful. (I got the brisket grilled cheese with the mac as the side)
I don’t usually leave reviews but this place deserves it! Our server was absolutely amazing and it was nice and easy to talk to her, I didn’t catch her name but she had blonde hair up in a bun and super cute glasses! I enjoyed my time here for sure
We rented the Winthrop Room in Half Liter for an event. The food was amazing as expected and I received confirmation from my guests. Our attendant Dee was also wonderful. I will definitely be returning to Half Liter, just for a regular restaurant visit, but I also highly recommend them for your next personal or corporate event.

We had a nice time at Half Liter! They have a massive outdoor patio so you’ll easily be situated depending on if they’re busy. The service is nice and fast, our waiter was super friendly too.
Food wise, I had the brisket sandwich with waffle fries. It was pretty good! We also got chips & queso and a pretzel as an appetizer and both were also great too!
If you’re in Broad Ripple, I’d definitely recommend this place if you like BBQ!

The smoked wings were impressive. I'm not usually a fan of Brussel sprouts but dang these are good. My only complaint is they allow dogs. People next to us had no control of dog and it barked most of the time.
Fun night with our group of 8 at Half Liter. We wanted to sit outside but there was a tornado watch and the restaurant took safety seriously enough to close off the outdoor seating. We were cold under a huge ceiling fan, but once the beer was flowing we didn’t even notice it. The food was excellent (starters, sides, brisket, ribs, cornbread), the beer and cocktails were refreshing, and most of all… we had outstanding service. We put in a lot of orders and we may have a been a chaotic group, but that didn’t phase our server, Kate. She was super responsive, upbeat, accurate, and friendly. Kate made the dining experience fun, easy, and casual.

I absolutely love love LOVE half liter. First, when you arrive to the restaurant you smell the wonderful aroma of the smoker. You enter the building and you are met with a family stylish dining. Our server Angel is the ABSOLUTE BEST! Angel is very attentive and friendly. We all ordered cocktails and food. The service was speedy and correct. We always bring our friends there. We are so happy with the food and service. We recommend this place to everyone.
