Hands down the best and most fresh sushi in Indianapolis! No other place compares. Their ginger salad dressing is one of a kind and no other place can even come close to competing! *****

Clear Soup is Chef's Kiss...so much flavor in such a small bowl.
Tuna Sashimi was delicious (wish they had a spicy dipping sauce).
Rock Shrimp was a great appetizer. That sauce had a hint of sweetness that was delectable.
Ask for Joe. He seasons the hell outta your hibachi meal. My Strip Steak was medium and juicy.
Customer Service was great and prices are reasonable.
I will definitely be back!
Ladies night out, celebrating a friend's birthday!
Great food, excellent service. Our birthday girl even got the birthday song. One of the ladies only wanted veggies, they gracefully accommodated. Another one of the ladies wanted shrimp fried rice and they made it special to order for her.
Our hibachi chef was hilarious. It was a great overall experience dining at Izakaya! We had a party of 9 and the seating accommodated us comfortably.

This is our usual go to Japanese Hibachi resturant. Service is always good and food is as well. You can get double rice instead of veggies with your meal is you like. Always kid friendly and entertaining. It is sometimes crowded during dinner time.

OMGoodness this is the best hibachi grill in the state from what I was hearing and after trying the food...I'll have to agree. I've been to others but none as delicious as this. The cook new exactly how to make our food and was even accommodating to those with allergies, work event. Will return delicious spicy dragon roll!!!
Went on Mother’s Day got sat right away but just sat at a normal table.
Hibachi was decent no complaint, didn’t get to experience the traditional chef but quality was still good.Gyoza were great.
The staff was friendly but you could tell the waitress was a little overwhelmed with waiting 6 tables at a time.
The restaurant was clean but dated. Seats with tears, water and stain damage to baseboard. Carpet looked halfway decent. Way cleaner than Benihana’s and better staff.
I brought my niece here for a late lunch. 1:30. So quiet and nice. Great service and hibachi is flavorful and customizable. Also has a sushi roll (spicy crab) that was great! This would be a fantastic place for a birthday or other celebration!!
I recently had dinner for two at this restaurant and overall had a positive experience. The steak (medium) and chicken dishes were great, receiving a 5 out of 5 rating.
I must preface my review by mentioning that I rarely eat seafood, but I decided to give it a try at this restaurant. The shrimp, scallops, and lobster dishes were decent, but they didn't quite match the steak and chicken options. I would rate them between 3 and 4 out of 5. It is possible that my lack of familiarity with seafood influenced my opinion, so consider that.
The ambiance of the restaurant was similar to other hibachi locations and the service was attentive and friendly.
Overall, I would return to this restaurant for their steak and chicken dishes. While the seafood didn't quite meet my expectations, I believe it's worth trying if you have a fondness for seafood.
One of our families' favorite places to eat for special occasions. We are always well taken care of, and we really enjoy the food!
Izakaya is one of my family's favorite places to meet for going out for dinner. The food is some of the best hibachi you can find in Indy and the staff and atmosphere always enhances each visit. A must try if you are in the mood for some high quality hibachi.
