Izakaya Japanese Bar & Grill - Indianapolis - Photo album

I have absolutely no complaints except I ate too much and don't feel like driving home. Lol Clear Soup is Chef's Kiss...so much flavor in such a small bowl. Tuna Sashimi was delicious (wish they had a spicy dipping sauce). Rock Shrimp was a great appetizer. That sauce had a hint of sweetness th
Ladies night out, celebrating a friend's birthday! Great food, excellent service. Our birthday girl even got the birthday song. One of the ladies only wanted veggies, they gracefully accommodated. Another one of the ladies wanted shrimp fried rice and they made it special to order for her. Our hi
This is our usual go to Japanese Hibachi resturant. Service is always good and food is as well. You can get double rice instead of veggies with your meal is you like. Always kid friendly and entertaining. It is sometimes crowded during dinner time.
Very good food, great customer service. And the hibachi was a great experience
OMGoodness this is the best hibachi grill in the state from what I was hearing and after trying the food...I'll have to agree. I've been to others but none as delicious as this. The cook new exactly how to make our food and was even accommodating to those with allergies, work event. Will return deli
Went on Mother’s Day got sat right away but just sat at a normal table. Hibachi was decent no complaint, didn’t get to experience the traditional chef but quality was still good.Gyoza were great. The staff was friendly but you could tell the waitress was a little overwhelmed with waiting 6 tables
I brought my niece here for a late lunch. 1:30. So quiet and nice. Great service and hibachi is flavorful and customizable. Also has a sushi roll (spicy crab) that was great! This would be a fantastic place for a birthday or other celebration!!
I recently had dinner for two at this restaurant and overall had a positive experience. The steak (medium) and chicken dishes were great, receiving a 5 out of 5 rating. I must preface my review by mentioning that I rarely eat seafood, but I decided to give it a try at this restaurant. The shrimp, s
One of our families' favorite places to eat for special occasions. We are always well taken care of, and we really enjoy the food!
Izakaya is one of my family's favorite places to meet for going out for dinner. The food is some of the best hibachi you can find in Indy and the staff and atmosphere always enhances each visit. A must try if you are in the mood for some high quality hibachi.
The food here is great. Offering a wide variety of proteins to choose from. The real stars are the chefs right in front of you cooking and going through the prep work of your meal in a very showy manner. Between thr great food amd the atmosphere this would be a great valentines day meal.
First time trying this place. Went with coworkers for holiday lunch. Our chef was very enthusiastic and entertaining. Food was great.
Rudy/Jackie Chen was our chef and he was AWESOME! He was super duper sweet and funny! The food was amazing, too, especially the scallops!! We had such a great time as a family for New Years Eve and everything tasted perfect. We love the great fried rice, vegetables, and all of the food is worth the
First off.... Get a reservation!!! Specially If you plan to go on the weekend. It getd quite crowded. Our experience was fun. We shared table with 5 other people but it was fine. Everybody had a good time and our cook kept making everyone laugh. Their miso soup was distinctively different from the r
Wonderful hibachi experience!! Joe definitely made it fun and a worthwhile dinner for the price. Will definitely go again.
Great hibachi! The filet minion was excellent. Everything else was also very tasty and cooked perfectly. Fun and engaging hibachi chef. Will come back again!
The food was great and the chef was awesome and funny. Good portions as well. 4 stars only because I had to wait quite a while before I got my chicken and shrimp (it was very last) and had to wait for a long time with just rice on my plate. I do like to have the rice mixed with the meat because if I
