My Deli In Mapco

Convenient location and good gas prices, but they need some work ... read on. This MAPCO is in a good location, right on the corner of a Wal-Mart. It is pretty easy to get to and has ample room in-between the pumps. I have only been inside once, but recall it to be clean and well-stocked. Their prices are usually the same as the other fuel stores. I don't care for the music they blare while I pump gas, but it's not that big of a deal. I generally stop here when I need gas. So why the average rating? I am frustrated by their loyalty program. They want you to be a member. They offer $.03 off per gallon. I signed up, however, you have to carry their plastic card to activate rewards. There is a mobile app, but it is a mess, to put it nicely. Most recently, the program was not working, as you can see in the photo. Please, MAPCO, fix your rewards program, including allowing the use of the app/your mobile device, to get credit for fuel purchases.

This store annoys me. Earlier today, I went in at about 8:45, I walk in there's 3 or 4 employees, none of them at the register. One of them directs me to the register at the chicken spot, fair enough. The employee behind the register doesn't help me right away cause she apparently had to finish doing something else first, ok she's busy, fair enough. After finishing her task, she helps me. I ask her for gas and cigarettes. She ID's me for the 100th time, and denies my totally legit ID. I regularly go in this store several times a week, I have been ID'd and approved countless times, but today my ID isn't any good. I ask for an explanation and I don't get one, she takes it to her supervisor, wastes a good 4 or 5 minutes of my time and just comes back saying they can't accept my ID. I just renewed my license 2 weeks ago and the only valid form of ID I have is a temporary paper license with the exact same information and the exact same photo, all of it legit. Works just fine anywhere else but not here? And the only explanation I get is, sorry, we can't accept this. Sad thing is, my hard copy license will be here in the mail any day now, but I doubt I'll ever be coming back here. I would keep coming back to this store because of how close it is to my house but after this, forget that.
