This place was on point. The food was fresh, the wait time was reasonable and the staff was friendly & prices are good. I ordered a turkey burger basket with fries & a tiger blood snow cone. 1st, let me say I think snow cones are too sweet. However, not here! I ordered one because of the reviews, and now I see why. It was perfect. My burger was hefty and seasoned just right. I will definitely be back.
I love their food. The pork chop sandwich is my favorite. Its soo good.. They toast the bread so perfect. The turkey burger is my 2nd favorite and the fries are on point too. Hot and well seasoned. I just wish they would do online orders or answer the phone.

Same creole lady (who never ages) and her daughter cooking everything fresh to order since i was a freshman hopping thru the park at lunch time and real deal was on the corner 😂😂😭😭. Now I drive from summerwood to Bennington with 4 kids to grab tigers blood snow cones and good eats;!!
Great prices, one of the best burger and fries I have had out in a long time! The best part of taking a friend to LBJ hospital was finding this place! I'm actually glad that sun foods doesn't serve fresh food and they were rude, because I went to Real Deal, and got the double meat and cheese burger basket with seasoned crinkle fries! If you are there check em out, say the crazy white man with the black hat sent you!

Everything I bought tasted good. The cheeseburger was fresh and had a unique flavor to it that I can't put my taste buds on. The sno-cone had just the right amount of syrup.
They must have the best Boudin and cheese to because my students live up here. I have yet to try them but students and teachers alike line up for the food here on a daily basis.
Oh yeah, and they make your order fresh.

When I moved to the Northside, so many people would always go to Real Deal and talk about how good it was. Some kids would even call way in advance just so they could be ready once they got there. Let me tell you! I went yesterday and THE FREAKING BOUDIN WITH CHEEESE!!!!! I was so mad that I got a small. I want to cry. It’s addicting. Do not go around 3 or 4 because that’s where all the kids go RIGHT after school. And mind you there are two schools walking distance from Real deal, so be mindful. And the reason why I don’t give them 5 stars is because, when you call in — they don’t ask for your name or anything! They don’t even give you a number. That’s so unprofessional. Also, when you arrive there is no way to tell them you have a ordered over the phone. Because of the massive line. But the food is so worth it.
