This is a great place for Vietnamese food in downtown Houston. They have been around a long time and there food is consistently good. Banh Xeo, BunBoHue, Bun Mang Vit, and vermicelli bowls are great. Don't really have anything bad to say. The owner is extremely friendly and the staff seems to follow suit. Highly recommend this place.

Wow. Another excellent noodle soup & more restaurant. Of course, I always get the noodle soup. I got the fried tofu noodle soup in beef broth. The broth was excellent & full of flavor. No need for any sauces. The restaurant is big with lots of seating. Very clean! The customer service is quick and thorough. The food was so good!

The pho broth is very light, not heavy or very sweet. It has just the right touch of season. The egg roll have a different wrap compare to other restaurant I have been too. Not too crispy. The Fried rice is on point. Not dark but very light. Not sticky and it is the small rice. The lighting is kind of dim. But overall good price for the food

Best Banh Mi Sandwiches near downtown Houston!! I've been coming here for years and I miss the Authenitic Vietnamese food here. Got the chance to stop in last week. I was sooo happy!

Hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant in Midtown. They've been around since the early 90s, originally in the building where the Rise Rooftop bar now stands. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu, really. My personal go to favorite is the Com Dau Hu Luc Lac dish (rice with wok seared tofu cubes). Other favorites include the beef version, banh xeo (Vietnamese crepe), pho, and banh mi. Service is fast. The staff is friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend! Update 9/27/23 the prices have gone up and it may seem by a lot but to be fair it was priced too low before and with all that's going on they are just catching up. Still worth the price increase

Every time me and my family come in we not only get welcomed and sit at a table right away but the food is so GOOD! The Sauteed beef sandwiches are great, egg rolls with fish sauce wrapped in lettuce is awesome and the Vermicelli is awesome! I also get a tropical smoothie which is the cherry on top at the end of our meal. Great place, great food, great employees and customer service, thank you Aaron and everyone! 10/10

Loved this no frills restaurant. It has a diner feel but the food was better than diner quality. We enjoyed their Bahn Xeo and Bun Bo Hue. Their Duck Salad was also really tasty with lean and tender meat and a mountain of cabbage. Highly recommend!

Delicious place for Vietnamese food - sandwiches, rice plates, soups, and appetizers (including the delicious looking crepe!). Had the pork and rice plate, with an appetizer of spring rolls. Friendly and helpful staff, plenty of seating and parking.

An authentic Vietnamese restaurant with a classic feel and delicious food. The banh xeo is fantastic as expected, and the bun thịt nướng is delicious (though the meat amount was less than I hoped for). The prices are fair and they have a good range of choices of dishes. The bánh xèo is definitely the dish to try here! Haven’t tried the banh mi yet but will plan to!

Banh mi with grilled pork was very dry but affordable. Plenty of parking.

Ordered delivery and the bahn mi was so flavorful! The chicken was very tender and juicy and the bread used was perfect mix of soft interior and crunchy exterior. Wonton soup also had lots of onions in it which were delicious.
