5 stars because we got we we expected. The food was good, the cashier was patient and friendly and assist with selection. We went after hours about 1 in the morning this past weekend. I got the new nacho special fully loaded it came in a large pizza box. I was impressed with the presentation. I was skeptical atfirst. For it looked rich I just knew I would get a stomach ache🙄.
I was wrong. The entire experience was positive. We got an order for three people and I suppose they liked their food too.
Taco cabana is a texas staple. They make tortillas from scratch and have a salsa self serve bar. The enchiladas are fantastic. If your low on funds you can order half a dozen tortillas and a 3oz queso for under $7. You can even order a dozen breakfast tacos togo. Great for picking up for the office.
Clean place, fresh food. The service is friendly and the people are courteous. Its a clean restuarant and good food
The staff here is always so friendly. It is clean and well stocked at the salsa bar. Restroom is always clean as well. This location does get very busy during rush hour in morning and afternoon. But they consistently get my order right and get me on my way efficiently. I pass another location in favor of this one.

We got the steak Cabana Bowl. It was delicious. It took a minute for them to get the registers to work when we walked in so we were left to wait for about 5 minutes even though it was Midday and no one was in there. We sat outside and enjoyed our meal in the sunny nice breezy patio. The girl at the toppings bar had a very serious face and did not smile at all. (The one who was cleaning up around it). She didn't even acknowledge us with the the smile or anything but that's not a big deal. (She had a head covering on her head). How happy can you look wiping down a counter. And while the other girl was making our steak bowls we were getting our drinks and noticed there weren't any lid's. We asked her for some and she had gloves on and came around the counter and started looking under the cabinets for lids in different boxes. I asked her if she would change her gloves when she went back to make meals and she did . I think she thought it was odd that I asked. But I recommend this place highly if they could smile more and get the registers working before customers come in the door.
Fairly new but so far I like it. They got my order right unlike the previous one along hwy 6 and Westheimer, but it takes a little longer to prepare my food. I'm being fair for now and give it time to get used to the new location and service.
Awesome staff, I made a mistake on my order and the workers had it fixed quick. Good hard working crew. Tough as nails manager. There is no “I” in team and what a wonderful team you have. Good food, good service
Happy hour is always good. They. Switch up the margarita flavors I believe either every week or every few weeks. Food is also good and tasty. Nice place to relax with friends after work either inside or outside.
The guy who took our order was the coolest order taker ever. Most drive thru places you get some lack luster employee that hates their life. This guy and from the looks of their crew at the window actually care about their job. My guess is the management leads by example which is a very good thing. Food was fresh, hot, and tasted good. This being 2am too so that should tell you something else. The workers here are why I will return again. The last time I was there about a year ago the service wasn't so great. Thank you night crew yall the real MVP
This location is GREAT most of the time. But there is an issue with the service being slow. It appears as though one manager in particular, tries his best to manage the staff properly, but some seem to take him for weak. Also, there are no hairnets being used and the prep area appears unkept. The drive-thru lines are long, which tells me they are doing well with the quality of the food, but they are SLOW and unorganized. I've had to wait 25 mins for flautas and 2 tacos. But the margaritas are ALWAYS on point!! Bottom line, food is good and fresh, but they need to be more efficient with time and cleaning the dining room & prep stations.
