The best ever!!!! None of the grease you get like the fast food stops.
For the price, this is probably the best burger in town, but don't take my word for it...stop by and taste for yourself!!
My boyfriend loves this place, he ordered the bacon burger with grilled onions and cleared his plate. I had the delicious blue cheese crumble burger. Enormous portion of fries when I got the combo. This spot is unassuming from the outside but the environment is friendly. It is counter service and the gentleman that took our order made sure that our adjustments were correct. Food came out in a timely manner. Highly recommend this place for a good burger, they also had some sandwich options that are a lighter choice.
I have been coming here for a couple of months now, and I have really enjoyed the service and food. The owners are friendly; they make the food with care and the same consistency every time they don't miss. The fires are perfect homemade cut fries; you gotta love them.
The only time you see their signboard is when you're about to go under the Westpark driveway. Therefore, this place is almost impossible to stop by if you don't plan ahead of time. The outside doesn't seem like a burger place if the signboard didn't say so. However, the inside atmosphere is pretty good. The decorations make you feel like you are in 60s. The price is good for a meal and should cost you around $12 if you didn't order extra salad or onion rings. We ordered a Texas combo and a super combo. The burger is pretty large in size with lots of tomato and pickle slices. The combo meal is pretty satisfying and filled us up along with a big portion of fries. I would say this place is a little better than whataburger, the burger place I usually go to. Their onion rings look crunchy and tasty. I'll try it out next time.
I get a burger once a month and last time I had the chicken sandwich and loved it. This time around I got the double meat (Beef) and oh boy; of course it was delicious. One thing I will state, is that the meat on each patty is plenty meaty and tasty. If you are someone like me who enjoys the texture and flavor of "all the way"(lettuce, tomato, pickles, and condiments) on each bite, I'd reccomend the single patty. It is still plenty of meat, you get more of the taste and texture of the veggies and condiments each bite, and it won't overstuff you into a comatose state.
My fiirst spot on my google map listed as "want to go", and I went there today. Everything is worth for waiting, the burgers and sidedishes were more than good. The owner was kind and friendly with great service mind.
This little gem in the corner of a nearly empty shopping strip that many have probably passed by a thousand times. It's a real old timey hamburger joint, not sure how long it's been here . I been passing by it for years, I remember eating here ages ago when this was a happening area of town booming with businesses. The businesses have disappeared but the Palace continues to make some awesome burgers and other great dishes. For me I just love the Cheeseburger and Fries. I love the all the hip decor and the wooden tables. They are probably the only joint in town with a cigarette machine(not working). Brought back memories of when I smoked, and made me grateful I quit. If you are out that way and want an awesome burger, get Googles Maps and put in 5757 Ranchester Dr. #1700! Peace out!
First, if Google Maps tells you to make a U-turn to get in the parking lot, DON'T! It's an impossible turn! Go up a bit further to the next light.
Now the review: Many daily specials that include fries. Fries are natural cut and a huge portion. Fast service. The patties are a decent size, but a bit bland (but much, much better than fast food chains). Definitely worth a try.
Nice sloppy traditional bacon cheeseburger with onion rings for about ten bucks. This place open back in the 80s, and you can tell. But honestly who cares when you get good food at an affordable price. My buddy got a burger fries and drink combo for $10 and was happy with his as well.
I’ve always liked this place. Almost everything is a little greasy, so maybe not for a diet. But their food is good and reasonably priced and the staff is nice. All made in the little kitchen +/- in front of you. Keeps pretty busy on weekday lunches.
I usually go for the fish sandwich, but have tried burger specials and the cheesesteak.
Hands down one of the best burgers in town. Family place. Very wide open inside, good vibe. A few TVs that I found a bit distracting. Excellent place for large or small gatherings. Burger was big, came piping hot, great flavor and the perfect oose factor. Nicely done. I will definitely go back.
