Service was great! Food is made to order. So is hot and good. Our waiter was very polite and attentive. Food was great!
This little hole in the wall had delicious, made to order food! I had a cheese pupusa and a bean and chicharon pupusa… they were freshly made, not greasy and a good size. There was 1 waiter, and he was very attentive! We will absolutely be going back to this little gem!
This place was amazing. I've been to several pupusa places in the area and by far this is my favorite. The prices are reasonable.

This place is definitely those places that are hidden gems to find, but totally worth it...reminds me of the authentic restaurants whenever I go to my home country. Also the owner is very nice!
Wonderful food, I've tried almost all of the entries, and they're all good. The pupusas and the tamales are the best.
I've never had any real problems with the service, but sometimes they are short handed on waitstaff, and then it slows down a bit, but for me and my family, the wait is worth it.

My family and I have been coming to La Pupusa Alegre since I was a child. I'm in my 30's now so we keep coming back simply for the Great! Food. The pupusa are amazing! The place is small and old but once you eat the pupusas here you forget where you are. Always good service. You should really try this place.
By far the best pupusas I've eaten anywhere. Just be sure you ask them for extra stuffing of your choice, otherwise they will scrimp & leave you with mostly masa. Service is slow so order ahead unless you don't mind waiting a good while for your food.
First, I want to say the pupusas were good! I bought chicharon (which are very popular according to the man who took my order) and the bean ones were so cheesy. They're about a big decent size. Reasonable price for them.
However, the man who greeted me was very polite but I wish I was offered a menu or list of what other options they had for pupusas or other potential items I could have ordered. Besides that, I recommend the pupusas. Definitely worth the money.
Best Pupusas EVER! I used to always buy pupusas from Mama Rosas but after trying this pupusas OMG.. Delicious! I rather drive more during my lunch break but I know for a fact I'm gonna get flavor, quality, and great customer service.
Place serves best loroco pupusas in town. Owner gives generous amount of loroco in pupusas. But, $4 tips and up are preferred made on credit cards for waiters. I was taxed $1 more without my permission to final transaction bill and there is a $10 minimum on all orders, made with a credit card. Definitely go eat there and enjoy good authentic Salvadorean pupsas.
