Wow, what a treat. We lived in Venezuela over 35 years ago and when I found this little spot we had to try it and were not disappointed. We came for lunch on a Wednesday and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. Had read the reviews on slow service but ours was prompt, friendly and very enjoyable, granted they weren't packed when we came. The food was delicious and took us back to our Venezuelan days. Between my wife and I we ordered a Queso Guayanes Arepa, a Beef Empanada and the classic Pabellon Criollo. Everything was very authentic and tasty. The Arepa was perfectly cooked with a nice crisp exterior and legitimate queso guayanes (not the typical queso de mano which they also offer). The Empanada was baked fresh and quite nice. Would be great if they would offer a picadillo version as that is one we loved in Venezuela. The Pabellon was classic perfectly served with delicious black beans and lovely plantains. We are planing to go back to have breakfast later this week. OK, I had to change this to 5 Stars as we just finished breakfast there and it was just as fantastic as lunch. Had the arepas, perico and beans and they were outstanding. The coffee and latte's are delicious and the service friendly and fantastic. We will now be regulars as this place has so much to offer, delicious fresh food, both Venezuelan and American, a delightful setting and great staff.

This place is worth the find. Wonderful atmosphere, service, and variety. The baked goods and produce were so fresh. Definitely making a point to come back and to recommend to others!

Fantastic little place every single thing here is home made by a knowledgeable Venezuelan chef at a fair price. It is also a fantastic place to get coffee (and dessert thou I can not attest to that first hand) if you want a place off the beaten path I recommend coming here.

I've been eating breakfast here at least three times a week as my office is nearby. But I feel that even if they were a little out of my way, I would still stop in here for breakfast. Such a relaxing place.

REAL homestyle food. As far as the price, it is very reasonable for today's market.

Being that this is a Owner ran business they put their hearts into their service. Really a Hole-in-the-Wall restaurant that I feel fortunate to have in my community.

This is a family-owned restaurant which has a wonderful comfortable and inviting atmosphere with a wide variety of delicious coffee tea fresh fruit and specialized expresso drinks. The food is fresh and homemade so you feel like you're eating something out of your mother's kitchen if she was from Latin America. I highly recommend checking them out for breakfast or dinner. They have comfortable outdoor seating or spaces inside. When you come here don't come to eat in a rush at since the food is made fresh to order it does take a little bit longer but you have plenty of Yummy Pastries and beverages to satisfy you while you wait for your entree.

English/Español: Very cost place With lovely coffee area, where you can choose your own cozy cup. Food is actually prepared on cast iron (so it is not just a random name of the pace) and it taste amazing. Mind that this is small local business - not a chain (love it) and it gets busy. Food is made from scratch and it takes time, especially during busy hours, so come if you are not in a rush and do not mind chilling for a bit sipping coffee and chit chatting. Employees are very friendly and nice chatty. We ordered arepas plate number 4 and cachazas with mechada (shredded beef). Food was delicious - worth waiting definitely. (In the picture is actually arepas plate number 3 - there was some confusion with the order but it all got taken care off and we got additional discount at the end) this dish was still great.

My husband and I just ate at the Cast Iron Bistro for the first time today. The food was different bit overall very good. Pancakes were delicious and I had the Arepas with scrambled eggs and turkey bacon. Service is a little slow so I would suggest to stop by when you aren't in a huge hurry, which we weren't. Thought the bistro was charming and very clean. Staff was very friendly as well.

I had the Cast Iron Skillet breakfast plate and it was delicious. The meal experience was much like dining with very hospitable neighbors that like to cook and make coffee for days....the empanadas were delicious as well....I will be returning for a future lunch experience. My experience does not even resemble the past patron reviews I read before I decided to find out for myself....check it out and decide for yourself.

Pros: It's hard to find unique experiences like Cast Iron. The quality is exceptional, the staff is friendly, diverse offerings from Venazuelan dishes to standard southern home style, the prices are reasonable. Cons: I would call ahead, the hours occasionally fluctuate.

Columbian food available who knew. Staff was helpful. Food was good. A little pricey but the ambiance and customer service make it worth checking out.
