Tasty buffet offerings at an affordable price. For 6.95 (M-F lunch), this restaurant offers a buffet with the usual Chinese beef and chicken stir-fry standards, shrimp, sushi, desserts and fresh fruit. Hot soy milk was also available from a steaming stock pot. 80% of the cooked food was up to scratch in terms of tastiness. Given that this is one of the cheapest buffets in Houston, I'd give it five thumbs up.
I'll second what was said. Not bad...for a buffet.
Friendly service. For a buffet, this place is alright. The place was very clean and the staff seem friendly. The food didn't have that buffet taste like some restaurants do. Included in the buffet is crab and crawfish which is quite nice. There were also a lot of unhealthy deep fried and stir fry choices.
Excellent bang for your buck.
First I feel I have to address the haters out there because although this isn't the belagio buffet for $8, it really isn't as bad as some have led on. Who comes to a low end buffet for the sushi? If you do then that's your first mistake, the food was generally pretty average but there was a wide variety and it was all very presentable. I use the general tso's performance as the Guage by which all Chinese is measured and ill give these guys a 7 / 10.
At the end of the day you really gotta ask yourself, are you trying to hit on that dime that you can't afford and won't put out? Or are you trying to go out and have a good time with a 7 on the cheap and get guaranteed satisfaction. The choice is yours...
