This place has the most decent empanadas around the city. It has great vibes and great customer service. Definitely worth checking out
I was in the area and saw this old sign and decided to see what google said about the deli shop and I’m so glad I decided to try a couple items. The Ham and Cheese empanadas were super tasty, hot and fresh. I’d hit it with your choice of hot sauce too. I also got the coconut Carmel cookie, it was not too sweet, super soft when you bite into it, and sticks to the roof of your mouth, I see why a cup of coffee would go well with this. I’m definitely coming back to try their sandwiches and other lunch plates. This is why I like the food around Westhiemer, you can try all different types of cuisines, in this case today was Argentinian flavors.
Went looking for a bombilla, they were out but the pastries and food selection was pretty great. The dining seats were limited but the place felt very welcoming and authentic.
Super friendly, family atmosphere and great empanadas.
First time visiting and was made to feel welcomed.
A nice and welcome change! Wanted a sandwich so i stopped in...and boy am I glad I did!!! This is one of those little 'hidden gems' in Houston!!! I felt genuinely welcomed, you dont get that everywhere. Will be back!
At a Resale Furniture Shop, pretty good prices, with nice furniture and picture's to purchase at reasonable prices for being a second hand store, I was impressed
Visited multiple times, very friendly & so nice, empanadas (5) are so good & made once you order & the merengue treats (7) are my favorite, visited 8/28/2020 -12:15pm always appreciate the wonderful service they provide.
Manenas is an excellent Argentinian food local. Always delicious food like but not limited to: pan de miga, empanadas, Palmeritas (palmiers), mate, alfajores and a large etc, all made from the scratch! Handled by its owners!
Always kind, traditional, well mannered personnel and an excellent food option in Houston!
Best empanadas I've had in Houston. I am Argentinian myself and they taste just like back in my country. They also have a wide variety of fresh delicious pastries that are definitely worth trying.
I would have given it five stars but the place looks outdated and the music could be better. Other than that the food and the service quality were awesome!
This is one of my favorite places to get beef and ham and cheese empanadas in the city. I like that they are baked and fresh.
I love the Migas too - the argentine style soft white bread sandwiches. Which are delicious as is or even better when toasted.
