Excellent Turkish/Mediterranean food with great atmosphere. We came on a Wednesday night and was seated inside quickly. They also have a nice patio. We ordered Aryan, a savory yogurt drink, chicken kabob plate, lamb kabob plate, Hummus, and roasted eggplant purée. We enjoyed them all, especially the hummus, which pairs very well with the complimentary bread. For dessert, we had baklava, which was flaky and one of the best I’ve ever had. The servers were very nice and checked on us multiple times! Highly recommend!
Man oh man did I find an amazing Mediterranean restaurant! Had a huge workout and I was really really really hungry. I loved all the food here. Only thing I didn’t take a pic was humus (ate it before I had a chance)! The Turkish pizza was super cheesy and mouth watering. The meat plates were very satisfying and fulfilling! Highly recommend you go support this small local business!!!
Absolutely delicious, phenomenal food and atmosphere! All of the workers were very nice. Our waiter, I didn't get his name, was excellent! For appetizers, we had dolma, pilaf, and turkish pide with the zaatar and olive oil. For the meals, We ordered #83 and #79 with ayran and later had turkish coffee, turkish tea, and rice pudding. Everything was fresh and very tasty! We will be visiting again! I didn't take a pic of the food. We got right into eating it, and I forgot, but I took some of the tea and coffee.
This place was amazing. The Cacik (#22) is this mint yogurt dip, that paired with the freshest pita I’ve ever had in my entire life, was so delicious I could’ve had just that for my whole meal. Entrees and dessert was also good (rice pudding especially). Server was very friendly. Decently affordable.
I know there’s a million restaurants around here and your trying to decide where to go, you won’t regret Istanbul Grill.
First time trying Turkish food and we enjoyed it. The service was exceptional and our waitress was extremely nice and explained everything we had questions about. We will be back.
Delicious! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back and try more items!
Love this Turkish restaurant. The hummus and lamb are the best. The pida bread comes out fresh and hot. Its newly renovated outdoor seating allows for more comfortable seating since it is now air conditioned. We have coming since 2005 and hope they will continue to be a staple in the Rice Village.
It was our first time going there and the food was so good!!!! Don’t forget to get their baklava for dessert, best baklava I’ve ever had! Highly recommend this place . We definitely want to go back again!
Me and wife came for our anniversary, and at first we couldn't find a place to park, bad place for parking, so we parked across the street with meter parking, which is 1$/hr, not bad. The seating area also looked simple, so we were hesitant. The food and the service were great. The lamb chops were really good, medium rare and very tender. The fried eggplant salad was really tasty too. Lahmajun or something like that was crispy and very good. The mixed grill was so so, didn't like the donner meat. Overall I am glad we came here, the area around is also nice if you want to walk around the place.
Everything was perfect. The food was delicious. The Turkish coffee was the best I'd ever had. The desserts were heavenly. And our waitress was so precious and kind! We will definitely be returning and telling others about this place!
