Nov '23: Great place to eat. It was my 1st time here & I was impressed. There was a slight mix-up with my food, but it was taken acre of quickly and fast. Nice service & nice staff. Haven't tried any adult drinks, but I will definitely try next time I come. They even have a buffet option that we plan on trying when we come back.

First time there and I like the atmosphere as you walk in. The food was ok. The fajitas had a weird taste to it. Everything else on on our plate was pretty good. We did try the strawberry cheesecake which was good and also the chocolate cake which I would pass on next time since it was dry. The service was really great!

Excellent food, great ambiance, strong drinks and friendly staff. I love coming here and recommend it to all my friends. Great for large parties! The beef fajitas are my favorite. Gotta respect a business that’s been around 50 years as well.. they know what they are doing 👍👏

For all of you lovers of our famous Tex Mex cuisine, I’m happy to share another old favorite—Doneraki Mexican Restaurant. I’ve been a fan from the days they were located in Northside on Fulton Street and Hector served our food for many years. He was like family! 🩷 I’ve been back twice in the last month to pick up the beef fajita taco with all the fixings to go. I always leave a generous tip because they’re so nice and efficient. I also appreciate that they provide delicious salsa and chips as a courtesy. Not many Tex Mex restaurants do this anymore. The rice and charro beans están deliciosos so try those. The salsa is served warm and it’s so good! I can’t speak about the rest of the menu but friends and family enjoy dining here. The restaurant is located at Gulfgate Mall and is something to behold for those lovers of Mexican decor! It’s darn fancy bordering on gaudy - all authentic vibes!🤣Community groups host their events in this space - it’s big and welcoming.

Our waiter Domingo was fantastic as well as the table service from Victoria. We never had to flag anyone down because they checked on us regularly and paid close attention to the needs at our table. Our family is learning Spanish, Domingo and Victoria who spoke very good English, both graciously worked with us to speak Spanish and teach us. They were Super Friendly even at their busy time on Black Friday! We will definitely be going back.

We had a very large group here today. Approximately forty people not counting the kids. The food was hot and good. Our wait staff were very good at checking on us for drink refills, additional meal items and so on. I had the Fiesta plate and everything was so delicious! I would recommend this restaurant and I'd also dine here again. Good job!

Nachos were good and fajitas with shrimp plate were the best! Only thing about service is you have3 or 4 ppl helping the server which is a great idea! But when I asked for a drink refill none of the ppl helping her acted like they could get it they just wanted her to do everything so hope she got the WHOLE tip!

We had a great time celebrating my husband's birthday 🎂 🥳. We had a party of 30 and everyone had a nice time. Only 1 person didn't get his food they had given ot to someone else and then when waiter tried to replace what he ordered it was wrong. So by the time the correct plate was brought out we were already done eating and he just took it to go. Other than that it was a good experience.

I have been eating here for 40 years since it was on Irvington. It’s an old school Mexican restaurant doing the same way for years. I came in tonight for Quail. I met Mario Lopez, manager. He has worked here 32 years. Juan Jose waited on me and was very good.

Met up with a friend for drinks and I've been here plenty of times in the past but it had been a couple years since I'd last been. I always drink the mojitos here either mango or strawberry flavored and they did not disappoint! 👌🥂💕 I didn't eat there that night.
