This place is consistently good. I started frequenting here two years ago when my husfriend and I were dating and I lived around the corner. We usually order the raw oysters when they're in season. Their mixed ceviche is incredible. As is their gumbo. Beers, Micheladas and margaritas are always on point. The service is great, and prices are reasonable. Now that we've moved, I never miss an opportunity to eat here when I'm in the area.

The oysters were to die for. The best I’ve ever had. The gumbo was also good. We will definitely be back. I’m so glad it’s not very far from us. I don’t think I will be going back to Captain Tom’s and waiting 30 minutes to an hour to eat.

Cool atmosphere, nothing fancy, but great food and great staff. It was our first visit. We wanted to chill out with beer and finger food and thought of trying this place. We started with craw fish and loved the taste and moved over to sea food platter. A must try. Great portion and yummy it was. We will surely visit this place again. Not expensive and good food. And the cherry on the cake - we got a complimentary seafood gumbo and It was yum yum. Next time surely I am going to order one of them. Great business move to let the first timers taste their specialty. Good place to chill out !!

GREAT RAW OYSTERS!. This place is great! There is no wait for these oysters like other restaurants I have been to. The gumbo and ceviche are average, but aren't bad. They have several fried seafood platters with a mexican flair and boiled shrimp. Happy Hour is EVERYDAY from 3-8pm.

Great catfish and rice. Super fresh tasting. Not in a very good spot, but don't let the location fool you. Good happy hour prices on the margs too!

The staff is are very friendly and some guys will honestly tell you if the oysters they have are good or not. I've never had a bad meal here.

Great seafood at a reasonable price. The fried oysters I had were some of the best I've ever had. They were served up just the way I like them--really crispy and juicy at the same time. I had the large order, and it was very reasonably priced. This is a casual restaurant with a very friendly staff who check on you constantly. They specialize in oysters (as you can tell by the name)--both raw and cooked.

Good food in what looks like an old Wendy's. Even still has the drive thru window. Looked like a full bar with ice house style beer. Every thing was fresh, the mixed ceviche was flavorful and the fried food was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Place was a bit run down looking but clean. Service was really good, friendly and fast and there were over 10 people in our group. I'd come back for sure just for the ceviche! Beer was cold also!

If you don’t get anything. You have to at least get the ceviche. It’s fresh, flavorful, and delicious. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you don’t try it.

I went over to Playa Azul cause I read a review that they had the best and biggest oysters in town, but I think that was an understatement. Their oysters are fantastic, ceviche was magical, and the service was impecable. Fernando the owner made me feel like I was at home. I just found my new favorite seafood joint.

We love this place and eat here whenever we're in the area. The fish ceviche is delicious and perfect for those who cannot tolerate shrimp. Their oysters, half shell or fried, are perfectly done and great quality. They have a slightly sorry taste and a firm texture. Like I said, this is a go-to spot.

Really liked their gumbo. I don't normally do fried seafood, but the fried shrimp had a great flavor and the model was cold. Service was quick and bartender was friendly with quick menu suggestions. We will definitely be returning to try different items.

Temporarily closed because someone stole the copper wiring to the building smh Hopefully they will be able to reopen soon. I always enjoyed there ceviche, gumbo, and raw oysters. The grilled fish was also good. Not big on fried food but never heard complaints from friends. Good place for some cold beer and fresh seafood

I love this place! I come almost every other Friday with the family to enjoy some awesome micheladas. I like how they have a variety of Mexican beers. We’ve ordered almost every item from the menu and can’t say I have any complaints. Oh and the service is always great :)

Love this place. Used to go every Monday. Now that I’ve moved, I don’t visit as much. Outstanding customer service! Everyone is friendly. They have my favorite Mexican beer (Pacifico). The oysters on the half shell are fresh and big. The ceviche is really good too! Can’t beat their margarita specials either.
