Happened on this restaurant while food-hunting yesterday night.
It’s a very Mexican restaurant: the ambience, decor, everything. It’s neat and nice-looking too.
The wait staff is warm and welcoming. They make you feel at home from the minute you walk through the doors.
Katy was our waitress and she did a good job of recommending house specials. She guided us through our selection and was PLEASANT throughout, smiling and asking us if we needed anything else. She’s a keeper!
Food was for two and cost about $49. We also had nachos and dips for starters.
The only reason I haven’t given them 5 stars YET is because I want to go back there and try more food when I’m not in such a hurry. I hope I find the time to. It was worth the time and money spent.

One of the best options for dinner. Very friendly staff, excellent quality of food and very clean. I highly recommend you. Mr. Stathatos is an amazing businessman and we thank him very much for the invitation.
Very good Mexican food. You can try Spicy Margaritas with either Mango or Peach flavors. You can also get Vegetarian option in some dishes there.
Very good Tex-mex! I've been a long time Los Tios customer but the food has not been very good lately. My wife suggested Don Carlos and we tried it. It was great!!! The server was good and the amount of food was almost more than I could eat. The seasonings were very tasty and spicy. Can't wait to go back!
I love this location! The customer service is great and everything is very clean. I ordered my daughter a chicken tender kids meal and it was like if it was an adult entree. A lot of food. I ordered chicken enchiladas and they were perfect with just enough chicken and cheese. My parents ordered a parrillada and it was delicious. Everything was cooked thoroughly and all of our food was so hot. This is our go to location. I prefer this one than the one on 76th street.
Great service! Excellent food! We went for lunch on a Friday. Lunch comes with free queso. Ordered a carnitas chimichanga and passion fruit margarita. Soooo good! My sister had burrito enchilada and a peach margarita. Definitely will be back!
Good food, friendly atmosphere a la Mexicana. Situated on the 59 freeway just across the street from the Ford dealership sits this authentically styled Mexican restaurant. Expect quick service in being seated at a comfortable table or booth. Although Don Carlos has a fully stocked bar any margaritas and other such drinks will be delivered to your table. The warm chips and salsa picante were great warm ups while we selected our meals. These folks go the extra mile to ensure that you have an enjoyable experience. The fajitas were awesome and the portions were more than adequate. Bravo Don Carlos.
Excellent food. Great prices. I had the My Enchiladas plate. The enchiladas covered with chile con queso were outstanding. The beef was very flavorful. Three large enchiladas and a crispy beef 🌮 with rice and beans for $12.95. You can't beat that!
My server was very friendly and service was very prompt. I will definitely be making return trips to this restaurant.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant, the food was great, our waitress was really sweet and attentive and the entertainment was nice! We will definitely visit again soon😊
