Great Chinese food at a very competitive price. The lunch soup to go was huge! Easily twice what I am used to. The egg roll was a very standard veggie one with nothing to complain or rave about. The sesame chicken was also quite good with nice big pieces of white meat Chicken. Fried rice was pretty standard, but a good accompaniment. If I am looking for some simple Chinese food and in the area, I would stop by again.
The only complaint was that the place itself is pretty dated inside. Clean but dark and older feeling. Almost like a smoking room or casino poker room
This place was fantastic! Very nice decor and the staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was hot, plentiful, and in line with the price. I particularly liked the hot and sour soup and the Kung Pao (pictured) was savory. I couldn't figure out why the crowd was so sparse on a Sunday for lunch, but we enjoyed it.
This is good Chinese food. The environment is great and the people are so nice. I thought the prices were a little high. We had fried rice, orange pork and sweet & sour chicken. Food came out fast. I was surprised, for dinner there were no egg rolls included or a cup of soup. That would be a nice addition.
Elegant Restaurant with very reasonable prices 👌....Service was excellent as well our meal 😋.
Lunch or dinner, the place is always ready to deliver. We are regulars, and we like all the different dishes that we’ve tried. The picture is from the last visit, and that right there is the Singapore-Style Noodles (my usual order)
First time here!
We got the general Tso’s chicken, crab puffs, and vegetable fried rice. Everything was well flavored and hot. I feel like other places General Tso’s dishes are always too sweet - this one is actually spicy! The chili flavor is so fresh too. The vegetable fried rice was packed with veggies. And they don’t skimp on the crab puff filling.
The lady at the front was very nice; I was greeted immediately and we had a pleasant short conversation. I don’t mind the prices - it is more expensive than other Chinese places, I’ll admit, but you will have leftovers. I think I’ve found my new neighborhood spot. Will be back.
I must say they have excellent food, it’s really really delicious, actually I find it’s the best. They have great service excellent staff. We go there every weekend since we discovered it 3 months ago. You must try it, if you like spicy food ask they to make it spicy it’s so good. Highly recommend!!!
I'm in town on business and ordered some delivery from this restaurant and I have to say, I was very happy with my selection. The most delicious Chinese restaurant in this area was located south of Houston in League City called Szchecuan Garden, but has since closed. The won-ton soup at Shanghai River was VERY close to Szchecuans with a clear yummy broth, cabbage and delicious roast pork & won tons. The fried rice was nice too. Egg rolls were so so. Overall, they were quick and had my order out in a jiff! I will definitely order from them again!
Very kind and friendly service. Very clean on the inside with a nice decor. Very good presentation and good selection of American Chinese food. If you're looking for real Chinese food, this isn't the spot. This is probably the best typical Americanized Chinese restaurant. A lot of guilos.
Update: Met a friend for lunch 6/1/22. I ordered the Shrimp Hunan, I like it spicy and it delivered! I also ordered a hot & sour soup to go...it has a little different spin and is wonderful. Food and service, yet again, were a 5 rating.
As always, the food and service were superb! I had the shrimp and vegetables, requesting it be spicy and with the brown sauce. Excellent! I love to eat here any opportunity I'm in the area.
