1st time here, great atmosphere, really enjoyed this venue. Valet parking available, reasonably priced drinks. The band playing was the Western Express, they were incredible. Will definitely return.

We love eating here as they are polite. The Texas quail runners are hot, tasty and smokey bites of deliciousness. We had the pork chop with tomato jam which was cooked perfectly. The best sides were the smoked chicken collard greens, the cheesy grits are so good and the broccolini with pecorino cheese and chared lemon are not to miss. Our wait person Caitlin was awesome!

Went here for a work lunch with 12 people. Attentive and speedy service. The chili frito pie was okay, needed more cheese and chips. I really enjoyed the fried okra and pork rinds appetizers. The decor had a hunter's lodge feel. Lots of outdoor seating. I recommend giving this place a try. Wasn't very busy during weekday lunch hours.

I absolutely loved the armadillo palace. The food was absolutely amazing. We tried so much of the menu and everything was fantastic. The biscuits with butter and jam was so good it could be a desert. Best pecan pie in Texas. Everyones food was perfect and tasty. Goode company has an attention to detail and makes sure everything is perfect. One of the best restaurants in Houston. True hidden gem. Highly recommend and will be returning.

Awesome food! It's an upscale version of the tradition BBQ pit. Delicious fresh biscuits and we had the BBQ red fish. Not traditional but oh SO moist and tender. Best fish EVER!
Great cobbler...crispy crust and not soggy like others and pecan pie that was just perfection! Not too sweet! Yummy.

Our appetizers, food, service, and chill country atmosphere were excellent. The waitress covered so many duties working short staffed and she was rewarded for it. I hope everyone notices when service personnel go above and beyond. As I stated everything tasted great, but for me there was a stand out. The fried okra was absolutely the best I have eaten. I'm going to have it every time I go now. It was a great time! Thanks, Goode Armadillo Palace and staff.

This place is hard to miss because of the giant mirrored longhorn armadillo in front. The staff was very nice, attentive and accommodating. The setting is exactly what you would expect for a sit down barbecue burger place. We sat outside in a nice breezeway. We didn’t come on a night with live music, but the stage set up looked like it was well designed to put on an enjoyable show. The service was prompt and courteous. The food was really good. I would eat here again if I return to Houston.

I really enjoyed myself! Our entire party enjoyed ourselves! The entire meal was beyond any expectation we had. So, here are my suggestions:
-Pork chop with Mac & cheese (I know I know... Why a pork chop when there is so many steak options on there... Well simply put, it just rocks... The candied dressed bone in chop is insanely delicious)
-the bread basket (again... Why? But it compliments the meal so well. There are so many times it can break up the meal or even soak up the flavors... Well work the $5 bucks)

Nice place, good ribeye steak. Also yummy salad, with good olive oil & vinegar dressing, I was sick of places that only had fatty creamy dressings, this place got it right. The servers are amazing, sorry for forgetting their names, but they got 10/10 in my book. I’m a picky eater, so I told them what I wanna avoid for them to rule out things I shouldn’t order. I enjoyed their side order of potatoes. We’ve ordered their famous pecan pie, but sadly I couldn’t try it, however my friends said it was amazing.
