La Crawfish

The head on shrimp was very great as well as the crawfish fried rice. The calamari were good just should’ve been bigger in size. The fried wings was good and hot as well. I wasn’t a fan of the boiled crawfish they tasted like they were frozen(could’ve been since it’s in early in season still) and the staff was great and loved the environment!

This location is kind of nice. I was shocked to see an empty dinning room. The orders were made quickly. The cashier was prompt in checking me out. I used the LA Crawfish App to order and the process was effortless. I ordered a 12 PC cajun chicken wing and I ordered a side of sweet potato and regular cajun fries. I even tried the Magic Cajun rice with shrimp.

It’s crawfish season 9.99lb. Joshua is so pleasant and eager to help, extremely knowledgeable about the menu items. He made great Suggestions regarding flavors.To go order -10min wait. Very flavorful and decent size crawfish, seasoned well with fresh garlic and herbs. I ordered the garlic butter and Cajun sauce Crawfish and beignets. I enjoyed getting the beignets when they have in stock. Always so tasty.

This was our second time visiting and I honestly don’t know why we haven’t been more times. We randomly stopped in on a Saturday night for the boiled crawfish and to our surprise there was no wait. We got 6 pounds of crawfish, 2 sausages, 2 pieces of corn, and 6 potatoes for about $63. I felt that this was worth EVERY penny. The cashier told us that the Garlic butter mixed with the House Cajun rub is the most popular flavor for the crawfish, so that is what we got. I like garlic so I was delighted to find that there were large slices of garlic in the bag with food. I would not recommend getting the garlic butter flavor if you are not a garlic lover. I got spicy and I was satisfied with the heat. It was not unbearable but it was definitely spicy as you ate more. This location is very clean and the food is really good. I will definitely be coming back.

I have been to the place over 5 times in the last year. I can honestly say that it is my favorite crawfish spot in Houston and it NEVER disappoints. I would recommend getting a mix of garlic and cajun, heat level spicy. Don't forget to add potatoes and corn. They have a large menu item. For anyone who is not a shellfish fan, then you might want to check out the wings. They are also very popular.

Being from Nawlin’s, I can humbly say that I have a trained palate in good ole fashion mudbugs. Ive been eating them since my mom had me in a stroller. As you see, my homeboy and I tore that food up! Below is a review of such. Crawfish: [8/10] We ordered the garlic & Cajun mix. The flavor of the paws, shell (garlic spiced), heads (sweet), and tails were really good. It is rare to find crawfish that has a complete spice and flavor. The meat in the tail tasted better than most crawfish places. I don’t rate it a 10 because of two issues. The crawfish was overcooked. You know how crawfish can become a deep red and the shell can become hard? It was like that. They cooked them too long. And the flavor of the tail meat, was not how I wanted it. Admittedly, it is hard to have a very good flavor of tail meat. But I have seen it done. The LA Crawfish in Bellaire is like that. Pho (8/10) I had the spicy beef broth, while my friend had the crawfish broth. The broth was sooooo good., i took it home. The best I’ve ever had at any restaurant. The spicy elixir had my noise bleeding, like i was transported to the high elevation of Mont Everest. The meat was standard. I don’t rate it a 10, because they jipped me on the meat portion. There was so little meat i had to ration it. The noodles were okay, they didn’t taste home made or fresh as other pho places. Music: explicit music when I was there. Overall: the food and experience was very pleasant. And i will go back with friends.
