Found this place via Google and boy, have not regrets on the recommendations! Was a bit surprised by the mechanics of custom decide what goes into your pizza, but must say was a great experience. Staff was nice going over toppings and the help us decide which local beer will makes great combo for our pizza. Last but not least, pizza dough was fresh and the pizza tastes like heaven.
I normally do not review any place, but this is the exception. My husband and I walked in on a Tuesday night at 8pm and were greeted by every single person working behind the counter. They were all super friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The food was great!! We both got to get exactly what we wanted on our own pizza and only had to wait maybe 5 minutes. Anything you can think of to put on a pizza they have to try. I had alfredo sauce, chicken, mozzarella, mushrooms, spinach, and ricotta cheese. SO GOOD! Also, they have beer on tap and wine. The beer was very cold and delicious. Another big positive note was the manager/owner checked us out himself and was also just as friendly and nice as his staff. He waived goodbye to us as we left. We will definitely be going back and encourage anyone who is craving pizza to stop in!!!
Fantastic service and fantastic pizza. The restaurant is very large and clean with a large flat screen television and ample seating. Very kid friendly.
As advertised, they have a salad area and a pick your own pizza and toppings area. Pizza sizes are 6 inch and 10 inch and sauce, cheese and toppings are all fresh and delicious. Literally only takes 3-4 minutes for your pizza to cook and has look and texture of a wood fired pizza.
In addition to great pizza, they have a large selection of beer and wine at reasonable prices. Good place to take the family or to stop by for lunch or to just grab pizzas to go.
Line moves quickly when ordering and choosing specific toppings (they have tons of them) and the staff is super friendly and helpful and attentive.
Highly recommend if you are looking for a great pizza.
I went in today for the first time and was greeted immediately. They asked if it was my first time (it was) and they took the time to explain how it worked to me. They were very patient while I ordered 4 different pizzas and two bread sticks. Every person behind the counter was extremely nice, like they all owned a piece of the company. The keep the place very clean and everything looks and tastes very fresh. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks for the great service and pizza.
Fast service with unique pizza combinations. The ingredients are always fresh and the dough (crust) is awesome. I think that is what makes this place different. The pizzas are cooked to order and the wait is never too long. They also offer beer on tap and by the bottle as well as wine. If you haven't tried this place I recommend you give it a try.
This place is great!!! Ended up going because I wanted to try something different, and it's just that. You can finally build your own personal pizza without being overcharged for toppings. The 10" pizza is perfect for one if you have a good size appetite. Imagine a subway style toppings place that applies to building your favorite pizza or salad. Ask for Chuck, he's the man. Thanks again for the cinnamon sticks!
Doesn't get any better than this. One price and you get to build your pizza however you like. It is perfect for myself (carnivore) and my fiancee (vegetarian) because we each get the pizza we want, which is more fresh and tasty than any pizza chain and not that much more expensive (comparing two personal to 1 large elsewhere). Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Buzzfeed ranked them the best in Texas and I would have to agree.
My husband and I love this place. It is a regular stop for us on a weekly bases for lunch. I call it the up scaled pizza subway. We love that you can have your pizza made your way and whatever and however many toppings you want. The people there are Awesome and the prices are perfect, they get you in an out which is perfect for when you are on lunch. We have not visited another pizza place since we found them, and we love pizza. We are from Chicago, (I know this is New York style), but they are number 1 on my list!
I wish you were on Trip Adviser so I can give you a great review there. Keep up what you are doing and we are sure to be back.
The staff was very friendly and my custom pizza was so delicious. I will definitely be coming back when I'm in the area. They have a great deal on Tuesday nights where you get a large personal pizza a pint of beer for only $10.
Overdue review, we've been coming to Hot Toppings the past six months and really enjoy it. The pizza is consistently great, with a satisfyingly chewy, but thin crust, a zesty sauce and a great variety of high quality toppings. The pizzas come out quickly and evenly cooked, it's also nice they have pre- sauteed onions, which I haven't seen at other places. They also offer a make your own salad and even breadsticks too. The prices are reasonable and it's a good choice for groups or picky eaters.The staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. Its not a fancy place, but it's casual and an easy choice for a quick meal.
