Great place for food. Drinks were amazing too. Love the enchiladas. Would definitely return.
The food and service were great. We came here after another restaurant told us the wait would be over an hour. Here we were seated very quickly. The margaritas were strong, and the fajitas were great. The only fluke was I ordered guacamole as an appetizer...it was really a lot of guac but not a lot of seasoning. The atmosphere was pretty loud between the people and the tvs. All you can do is eat because you probably have to yell to hear each other. On a weekday, I imagine it might be calmer. Overall, a great restaurant!
Had the chicken flautas and the birria flautas and can't decide which to recommend more. Crunchy fresh fried with perfect seasoning for the chicken and birria!
The best part wasn't even the food though. We were incredibly well attended to by courteous and friendly employees.
Had only gotten takeout before but was missing out on half the experience.
Will be back! Often hopefully
Tried this place while I was visiting Houston. Bought the Tony's parialla and tres leches. It was a combination of all meat and it was really good. The meat was well cooked, fresh quality and nice flavor. The sides were great with beans, avocado, and the tortilla. I was super full by the time I saw the chips and salsa. It was really tasty and so fresh salsa, almost had a food coma. The tres leches was okay but not fantastic, lot of chocolate syrup on it but I didn't feel the cake consistency was great. Definitely a great place to try, will visit again 👍👍👍👍
Very busy place and can get quite loud. The service is very good.
Margaritas are strong 4/5
We ordered the Chile con queso 3/5, guacamole Mexicano 4.5/5, brisket enchiladas 3.5/5, chicken fajitas 4/5, flautas de birria 4/5, and carnitas street tacos 4/5.
Dorian, Jesus & Aiden always very warm & welcoming. Food never misses a beat, lots of variety and a little bit for everyone. Thankfully they expanded their healthy options a bit. Highly recommend, we've been patrons for 7yrs and it's the only Tex-Mex establishment we visit.
One of the best places in the heights, Will definitely be back for the shrimp Diablo!
After not coming here for years, I came in for lunch, it was pretty tasty and the Enchiladas were really Cheesy! But expect to pay for it. Carne Guisada was $25, taco plates and Enchilada plates were over $15
It was good... but I like La Hacienda better.. bit pricey... Customer Service was good.. I'm happy 😊
First time here. I drive by it a lot and gave it a try. I had the crispy chicken tacos with rice and beans. They were fantastic. The meat was juicy and crisp lettuce is a plus. The restaurant is bigger than it looks outside. The service fast and friendly. Parking in the front is tight but you can park around back. I'll be back soon!
