On a week night, this hot spot is packed where there aren't enough seats to go around inside and out. After a beautiful candlelight concert in downtown, we stopped in for some late coffee and pastries. The pastries are in the much sweeter side but the coffees are made to your preference, honey or stevia alternatives to sugar etc. What was beyond expectations were belly dancers who performed in the middle of this two story, rustic coffee shop with what? Candlelights🕯

We enjoyed visiting this place. It's open until late and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I personally like the atmosphere with the music and chatter. Coffee houses can be for socializing too. And of course, the artwork inside is wonderful!

We went to the cafe at around noon on a Sunday. It was almost packed, but we were able to find a nice table on the second floor. The cafe blends perfectly with the artistic, vivid and young atmosphere of Montrose. I ordered a latte and it was great. I love the ambience with all the paintings on the wall, and the nice match of colors of all the decorations. On the second floor, you got a nice view of the street, and you could chat there without much distraction. The staffs are friendly. They also have a wide variety of baked food. I would love to go again.

One of my go-to coffeeshops in Houston. Dance performances some evenings, interesting space, and great drinks. I typically get the Freddo espresso - one of the few places have found the drink in America.

Boisterous, Greek-themed coffee shop in the Montrose area Pros: great social atmosphere, longer opening hours, good coffee / drinks Cons: limited seating, noisy environment, steep stairs are a potential hazard, parking is confusing Ambience: Not for quiet-coffee shop goers - there’s always loud music playing, accompanied by the chatter of the numerous guests. The interior is styled as a forum space - the first floor bar and seating area opens up to an atrium with the upstairs seating area. The upstairs area is quite narrow, with uneven tables, chairs, and flooring. Service: is friendly but the lines are long. Staff are diligent about cleaning up mugs / glasses once you’re finished. Value: coffee / drinks run from $3.50 for black coffee to $6.50 for specialty drinks. Coffee: admittedly not a big coffee drinker but have enjoyed their specialty drinks e.g., chai latte, honey matcha latte, etc.

Being an European, I can tell you that the vibe is correct and the guests are mainly young people with good manners and laptops. Music is optimally loud and well suited to the place. You can hear the chatter, and the crowd is "dense" enough so the place becomes cozy and warm. Coffee is ok, better that the average, but not stellar. Toilets are not the best, I would give them 3 stars. Parking is crowded but I got lucky, thus also 3 stars for the parking. Overall, for Houston, a good place to drink a coffee.

It's a nice cool cozy spot, you will bump into some arms and be really close sitting to other groups so if that's not your thing you should skip this place. We just had a coffee and cookies and it was really good, the vibe of the place is great to have a conversation or also work/study on your computer, I've been wanting to come here because I always see that its packed, so I gave it a shot and it was a good experience. Not sure if I loved the small tight setting but some people may like that, that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

Got to finally try the freddo cappuccino and so glad I did! We got a few savory pastries and pistachio baklava. Don't let the parking discourage you, it's worth it.

If you want a spot to go get coffee or wine super late and get some work done, this is the spot. Also Wednesday nights they got belly dancers which is very interesting.

Amazing coffee shop in the heart of Montrose. Frequented by neighborhood locals, it offers coffee, tea, wine and beer. They also have some some pastries. It can get really busy, many students come here to do work or work on projects. There is a big patio, smokers hang out play chess and socialize.
