I’ve been here twice and each experience has been amazing, specifically: -The staff are always attentive, friendly, and very good at timing when to return to the table to ask for anything; I never felt like I was waiting or bothered too much. -The specials (both of which, the snapper and the lobster scampi are in the last photo) were insane. When David described the lobster scampi, I didn’t expect the taste of it to match what my brain put together when he first described it. It exceeded it. By a lot. These dishes are simply fantastic. -The atmosphere is very relaxing. The seating is well spaced and I didn’t feel cramped, even at a table. -The oysters were fantastic, presented very well, and were massive and flavorful paired with their sauce. Overall, this place is very worth it and I have had true 5/5 experiences on two separate occasions. I would definitely recommend to others.

Great. For appetizer we shared the fried calamari, shrimp, and asparagus w/ marinara and remoulade. Had to take some home. Mains we had classic caesar w/ fried oysters and linguine pescatore. Both were excellent. Linguine dish was spicy from the chorizo. Service was just right, attentive but not too much. Recommend.

The food and service was fantastic. I ordered my meal from one of the specials the waiter told us about. It was 4 shrimp and 4 scallops with truffle risotto. I didn't know until I got the bill that dish alone cost $70. Had I known it was that expensive, I would have ordered something else. For my meal and 2 drinks plus the gratuity that was automatically added, my bill was $125. I know now to ask the price for specials 😆 My cousin apologized for my bill being so high. I'm not sure for that price that I will return, but this is where my cousin chose to go after my aunts memorial service. It was good and in the end it was worth it to spend time with family I haven't seen since I was a kid.

After several visits to Liberty Kitchen at River Oaks, we are committed fans. Seafood lovers, especially oyster enthusiasts, owe it to themselves to graze among all of the fresh choices. No matter how busy they are, the service is always impeccable and friendly. The managers are friendly and circulating to help the staff and to greet guests. Brunch is especially good with many options you won't find elsewhere. Pay LKRO a visit!

All around amazing place, I wish we could have one in Dallas. Very impressive. Update: Returned again, as good if not better. Love this place.

Fresh, well prepared seafood. This was an amazing dinner. Everything was fresh and the service was amazing. We shared a bottle of wine, enjoyed the seafood and finished with some key lime pie (not pictured). The oysters were delicious and had a fun presentation. The bread that accompanied them was as soft as a cloud. The green beans were prepared well - salt, butter and garlic, nothing too special. The main courses were well worth it. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

I do think this is by far my favorite restaurant in houston. The menu is 5 out of 5. Sooo many delicious options to choose from. Plus there are specials that change daily. Every time I come, I try a different entree. The food never disappoints. The drinks are delicious as well. Service is great. The ambiance is cute. Very clean establishment. There is also happy hour from 3-6 which include drinks and select appetizers.

Happy hour food was limited and it was ok only. After being seated, took a while for a server to attend to the table. But she was nice and attentive. Honestly, I won’t be back.

We are just so taken with this place 💕. We have come here for two special occasions now, and both times were taken the best care of! The staff are all exceptional as is the food. The place is so charmingly decorated and the ambiance is just perfect. If you like oysters, they are always huge here! Personally I am in love with their happy hour deviled eggs and fries, but I've had quite a few excellent dishes, and the cocktails are so expertly blended. If you like sweets, do not miss their bread pudding (I don't usually like bread pudding, but this stuff is something else)! I couldn't recommend more highly.

Dined here a few weeks ago with a group of 6 and we had an amazing time! The food was outstanding and the atmosphere is great. We ordered the lobster bites, crab balls, and the cake and bacon rolls to begin and they were all incredible! Each person ranked their favorites and I think everyone had a different opinion of each, so they were all amazing! Each of us ordered the the daily specials which were: lobster pasta, mushroom risotto, and a fish (it was either redfish or red snapper, I can’t remember) with a lemon sauce and lobster mashed potatoes. All of them were good but the mushroom risotto made everyone who didn’t order it jealous!!! It was to die for! The lobster pasta was overly sweet, maybe due to the sweet nature of lobster, but the sauce also tasted sweet and it was just a bit off. The fish with the crab and lemon sauce was cooked perfectly and absolutely wonderful. Finished the meal with dessert, but I don’t remember which ones as I didn’t have any. Overall a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back and have already recommended to many others.
