The food is always great at Grace's! I would recommend this eating place to everyone! Great food and drinks!....The wings and waffles were the bomb!
I have visited Gracie’s for mother’s day, and four bday brunches since then; and I enjoyed all five dining’s! I’v had a few entree’s, that was all delicious; but my favorite is the crawfish mac and cheese; it’s to die for, yum!

1st time there, will definitely come back.
4 stars on service because server was in training, but he was good and the manager followed up. Great food, loved my shrimp tacos, next time I'll get the sauce on the side so I can control the heat. That cornbread came out fresh from the oven and was delicious, definitely a grandmother's recipe.
Great Service! Drinks are awesome! Good portions are small for the price. Seafood platter was not very seasoned. Sticky pork ribs were great. Grilled chicken plate was well seasoned and great. The cornbread was the best!
I love the way the restaurant is designed; it’s a large place but the rooms feel small and intimate.
The Baked Potato Dip was a bit disappointing. It’s basically queso with bacon bits served with homemade potato chips. It was okay; I was expecting something different.
The server said the crab cake was “amazing” and he was right. It’s not a “Maryland crab cake”; it has breading and fillers but, it’s seasoned well and extremely flavorful. I wasn’t expecting a lot from the French fries but, to my surprise, they were delicious!
I’d heard good things about their Mac and cheese and that didn’t disappoint! Yum!!!
The fried chicken is well seasoned and it’s a generous portion.
The service was fantastic. They anticipated our needs, our requests were completed so fast and discretely, I didn’t even realize they brought over what we asked for lol.
Bottom line, Grace’s is good; very good.
I'm visiting my sister and she suggested we have lunch, as I was fresh off the plane. I liked the passage door, felt like a secret dining experience but its actually the bar area. The wood trim n green paint was nice. Ole world charm. We had a jalapeño cornbread appetizer. I had a fried shrimp stuffed poblano pepper on a bed of rice and she had stuffed chicken with greens n mac.
The martinis were called side cars, n the name was befitting..a smooth ride. Wonderful experience and our server was busy yet attentive.
Grace’s! Grace’s! Grace’s! I can’t say enough great things, just go try it. The food was some of THE BEST brunch I’ve ever had. The only thing I didn’t care for was the automatic gratuity added to every single item you order no matter the party size. We ordered the shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, and traditional breakfast platter. The drinks were so strong that all you’d need is one. A bit pricey but worth it to me. I give it 5 stars all around.
All these years in Houston and I had never been to Grace’s, but one afternoon my wife and I were running errands and we were hungry. We passed by Grace’s and on a whim decided to stop in for lunch.
It was Restaurant Week and at 2 p.m. we managed to miss most of the lunch rush. We were sat in the open dining room, offered the restaurant week menu and regular menu, asked for drink orders and given plenty of time to decide what we’d like to eat.
The Restaurant Week menu was a good deal with yummy options so we went that direction with the seafood campechana, seafood gumbo, roasted pork chops and mashed potatoes. The seafood campechana was served in a small corn tortilla bowl with tortilla chips. It was a smaller serving, but as a part of a three-course meal it wasn’t too small. The gumbo wasn’t my favorite, but my wife is from Louisiana and I’m biased. Their gumbo has okra which gives it a more earthy flavor. Now, the roasted pork chops and mashed potatoes? They were a perfect bite. The pork melted in your mouth and you could taste the amount of butter in the potatoes. We got a bread pudding to-go, too.
This was absolutely worth it for a $25 meal. I’ll definitely return to enjoy the regular menu.
After hearing so many people talk about this place, I had to try it out. I was not disappointed and definitely worth the hour wait for a table. I will be back being that there was so much stuff on the menu I wanted to try! I literally purchased 2 additional meals just to take home. A+ service!!!!!
Delicious!!! I had the the chicken fried chicken and it was delicious! Flavorful and not greasy! The Brussel sprouts where my favorite side because they were nice and crispy. My kids had the chicken fingers with Mac and cheese and they devoured it!
They have complimentary valet which makes you feel so special. The services superb and the food is even better. Troy was a great server!
Visited for Houston Restaurant Week Lunch and didn’t disappoint! First and foremost, can I mention how good that cornbread is?! I almost wanted to ask for another one. Also, I loved that it was a three course and everything we ordered were so tasty. There was not one thing that I wanted to complain about, except how I was too full to have the dessert and I was so sad about that. The server was also very attentive and provided seamless service.
