Best cake noodles around! Love this restaurant’s cake noodles. Yes, sometimes it isn’t perfect, yes, sometimes the English by the staff sounds rude, but the food is always delicious and a decent value.
It’s my go to Cantonese restaurant for all of the basics, especially the minute chicken cake noodle. The noodle is crunchy, but not too dense and never burned. The chicken is always well cooked and well sauced. I prefer my sauce to be thinner and on the less rather than more side to avoid getting soggy. On On gets exactly right for me. And I like that it isn’t too salty.
I also really like the fish filet with green onions and ginger. I’m sure it’s a previously frozen fillet, but the sauce tastes fresh and ginger laden. The green onions aren’t over cooked and have good flavor.
I don’t know why all those single review reviewers all had such a bad experience, but I suspect they must have caught the staff on a bad day or ordered the wrong things, which can happen at so many restaurants especially if you have only been able to review a single restaurant.
This is definitely one of our new favorite restaurants. Very simple and amazing Chinese food. We had a large variety to try. We couldn't stop eating. Everything was so amazing. The owners are super kind. They kept checking on us and making sure we were doing great. The food had amazing flavor, and perfect size servings. We could not eat everything. Check them out.
After leaving the a private near the area, I decided to stop at Leonard’s for donuts and parked near the On On restaurant. After donuts, I stopped to get fried rice and egg rolls. Wow, they are delicious 😋. I plan to return.
This is one of our new go to restaurants. The Cantonese food is very comforting and familiar to me. The owners are friendly and always wanting to make sure you enjoy your experience. I've enjoyed the Clams with black bean sauce, Chow Fun noodles, Honey Walnut Shrimp and Sin Choy with Pork. Give them a try. The servings are a little small, that's inflation.
We just love the food…finally found a Chinese restaurant that we love!
Food was really good. The lady taking our order was nice but rude at the same time. She pretty much told us that we ordered too much and kept asking if we were sure if we wanted to order two of a dish. We mopped pretty much everything. The other thing is that the water and tea kinda tasted like soap. It wasn't overwhelming but enough to make you order a soda.
The food was yummy. I had the Mongolian beef. Not too spicy but very flavorful. My wife had garlic ginger oysters. I found the hostess/waitress to be direct but kind. I treated her with respect and she warmed up. Reading some of the reviews about being treated rudely, I can only say that a little understanding of cultures and a little bit of honey go a long way.
This is one of my favorite restaurants on oahu! They really make you feel like family here. The food is delicious and always taste fresh. We always ate here while living on Oahu but since then I have moved to Vegas. Our last trip home during the summer we had to come eat here! Let me tell you it was so yummy! I will forever be a customer!

The lady who runs this place is a really nice person. I sat with her the other day while waiting for my food. She makes great Chinese food and it's a very reasonable price!
