Delicious Middle Eastern flavors. Chef Michael Mina has done well adapting this palette to the island. Chicken lafa was juicy and flavorful, and the veggies tasted extra fresh! Zaatar fries were a fantastic side dish, with the cheese complimenting the zaatar. On a second visit had the beef and a side of falafel. Probably even more delicious than the chicken! Third: have now had the salmon, which flakes and then melts in your mouth, but also really highlights the taste of the vegetables.

We very been coming to Waikiki for over 10 years and this has got to be the tastiest Mediterranean fast food we've ever had. The rice plates with pickled veggies are A+

The Harissa chicken rice plate was really good! Absolutely bursting with flavor. We were afraid that since it was seemingly already cooked and sitting out that it would be dry, but the chicken was super juicy and the skin was crispy, as if it was made to order. Our order took a while to get ready, so it probably was made to order. The plate is pretty big and comes with 2 thighs, but it's so good, we were glad we had each ordered our own.

For $13, I got the harissa-grilled chicken lafas. This being my first lafas, I’d say they were twice the size of a street taco each. They were filling and delicious. The chicken was soft and marinated nicely. The lafa (flatbread) was soft and fresh. Great meal altogether. You order at the cash register, get a pager, then pick up at the opposite end of the counter. If you need a box for leftovers, the Street has boxes next to tray return stations.

For fast casual this food is exceptional. Get the veggie lafa...roasted cauliflower and eggplant with chickpeas, harissa, Zaatar and halloumi.
