To Thai For is one of the best Thai food places on Oahu. Great food, good size portions, very tasty, and a delicious spicy flavor. Tried mostly everything and haven't found anything I didn't like.
Best Thai food ever!!! Tried the yellow curry dish, pad Thai and the eggplant stir fry. They all tasted amazing!

Owners, chef - Thailand in Kaimuki. Will prepare the way you like. Tom Yum Soup exceptional.
Best Thai For!. We love this place!!!
Good food, good people, good ambiance... a must for great Thai... clean, tasty, wonderful...
highly recommend:
the chicken noodle soup,
summer rolls, peppered pork chops, fish & crab dishes, eggplant, and pad thai noodles...
Very good Thai. Had the yellow curry and summer rolls. Both were very good....try the. Chang beer!
Rehearsal dinner - Fabulous!. We planned with Natalie a vegetarian menu for my daughter's rehearsal dinner. Her family and she have become friends and she was gracious in suggesting the dishes and amount. We planned for 28 people and 36 came! Momma and her daughters made sure we had plenty of food. Guests were talking about the great soup, Pad Thai, Pineapple rice, and yummy strawberry shortcake the next day! Always a sign of a superior meal and great service! Thank you friends for all of your effort and wonderful dishes!
Great authentic Thai food! Reasonably priced. We had the summer rolls (loved the sauce)! Pad Thai with chicken was perfectly seasoned and red curry best we've had. Highly recommend!
What a find. A friend introduced me to this wonderful place last night. We had a party of seven so we were able to try many different dishes. All were excellent. My favorite was the fish of the day, an incredible salt and pepper fried sea bass .
I am so impressed I am going back for a birthday dinner with a party of 15
Truly the BEST!. I can't believe someone said the food was boring....must have no taste buds or something! OMG! This place has the best Thai food I've ever tasted. I thought I knew what good Thai food was but after going here, I was blown away!
Things to try:
Thai Devil Popcorn chicken
Tom Yum soup
Rad Na with shrimp wontons
mango with sticky rice (if they have it)
Thai ribs (again if they have them)
Check this place out. It has a pleasant family atmosphere. My only gripe would be that I wish they played something other than Thai music. I know...that's standard but I'd rather hear some blues or Indie music.
This soup is a bit creamy, although not at all heavy, and it’s extremely spicy. The lemongrass and lime is a bit sour against the creamy coconut milk, and the soup is loaded with wonderful vegetables, like bamboo shoots, potatoes and carrots.
We stayed in Waikiki. Shopped at Kahala Mall. We were looking for a place to eat on the way back and found lots of options along Waialae Avenue (Kaimuki). The ambience =3 stars here (stark, clinical, plastic chairs) however the food/flavors =4 stars. Friendly service = 4 stars. Value for money = 4 stars. After dinner there are places to grab dessert or after dinner boba.
Simple, tasty food. Super nice staff.
This place is delicious. One of my favorite food joints that right down the street. I love to get it for takeaway, they box it up for ready transport, are fast and offer generous portion sizes! I highly recommend their Tempora Veggies, some of the best I've ever had, and their Pad Thai, with fish. Be careful with how spicy you ask for, spicy is very spicy, although I'm a fan of hot and spicy food, I would go a little mild unless you are a fan of spicy Curry. Portion sizes are very generous for the prices, I would definitely recommend this place for good food on a budget, and their dining area is nice and their bar is a great place for a cheap date.
OMG the fish here!!!! YUMMY food all around. There is nothing here I didn't like. The calamari is tender and breaded go perfection. The fish is delicious. Perfectly fried in a sweet and tangy sauce. The service can't be any better easily my favorite Thai restaurant in island so far. Can't wait to go back.
Really great food, and excellent service. The food is individually spiced and almost everything can be made with GF Tamari sauce. Food pics are pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, pumpkin Curry, and Thai basil stir fry. Also the summer rolls with a unique peanut sauce.
We came in by a happy accident after our intended destination was closed. I ordered the pumpkin curry and every bite was delightful and savory; full of flavour! I will definitely come back to try other menu items.
To Thai for, for real! Tasty, yummy and ono thai food. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Their levels of heat is on point. They have big portions too.
We decided to try this restaurant out today. We got the soft summer rolls, yellow curry and Pad Thai. I am a little picky about food at restaurants but this was a great choice. Server was attentive and had our ordered food to our table very quickly. I was going to take most of my Pad Thai home with me but the person with me finished it up and also all of his curry. Plan to take my sister here while visiting for her 70th birthday. Also, plan for this to be my go to Thai restaurant from now on.
We were referred by hotel staff and we couldn’t be more satisfied.
The food was great! Don’t be afraid of the Thai spicy rating, if you like spicy go 4 Thai spicy 🌶️.
The only bummer was they did not have a good selection for drinks, that were out of most drinks on the menu.
Friendly service! Would definitely come back😃.
Recommended to come here by a bartender during our honeymoon. Best Thai food we’ve ever had
- flavorful, spice level is just right, and just absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the fried tofu and massaman curry.
