Ichiriki Japanese Nabe Restaurant

Good hot Pot food here, you can choose your Combo Meal here & or order Ala Carte also. We've been to this location before, & I do enjoy coming here @Ichiriki near Ala Moana Shopping Center. Just remember to call in for a RSVP, we didn't because we are "Spur" of the moment Foodie kind of peeps here, haha. My Hubby didn't care for the Soup that much, (a lil more on the Saltier side, maybe), But I enjoyed everything from this Restaurant, Food, our Wonderful Waitress (JAIMIE!!!), she So Awesome & Nice & very informative about the Menu Selections, etc, including the Desserts we didn't order any because we were SO full from our Dinner! Lol! Other than that, please give this place a try if you've never been here before, sit down & dine-in, Relax & start Cooking your Hot Pop goodies right away :). Luckily for me, my Husband Cooks our Hot Pot food for us, cause he loves to Cook & I suck at Cooking anything, I just am not good at Cooking :D. P.S. - Please say, "Thank you" to our Wonderful Waitress "JAIMIE", she's a very good worker there & knows her job well & interacts with ppl great!!! P.S.S. - Thank you also to the Manager dude (with Da Aloha Shirt) that evening, he would make his rounds all around the tables to check-in on his Customers!! Thank you, Ichiriki, you guys Rock!! Location near Ala Moana shopping mall. staff was friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end of our meal. The food was delicious as always. We arrived in time for happy hour, so it was nice to get a few dollars in savings. The drawback was that it didn't come with the dipping sauces. Luckily, we could add them to our meal for $1 each sauce. we had 7 people, and we fit nicely in two 4 seaters that were right next to each other. I'm not a fan of the shared parking lot behind the restaurant with the limited number of tight spaces available. Would ahve given 5 stars bit the Aiea location has a mich better searing and view due to location. This is a good location to the mall, and the food and service are solid. we will be back again.

Best Japanese Shabu Shabu place, simple, meat and veggie with wide variety of soup bases to try, meat selection is good, fresh veggie and happy hour dishes are good to try, service could be better in terms of promptness, interior deco got a little out dated but maybe they are transitioning into an updated interior deco. Parking is behind the entrance for $1-2, no validation offered. As of now, they offer discounted gift cards during the year end holiday season and military discount

The food is always good never have a bad experience with the food although the service was lacking have to wait a very long time just to get a bowl of rice and even getting the egg I have to be sarcastic and ask them are they finding the egg somewhere in the back and are they growing the rice somewhere. This is just constructive criticism that won't discourage me from going there I've been going there for many years and I will continue going there and hopefully next time I go there the service will be better

Ichiriki has a great BUILD YOUR OWN NABE lunch special - for only $11.95! The nabe is served with 10 vegetables - Chinese cabbage, enoki & shiitake mushrooms, tofu, kuzukiri, abura age, chives, gobo, homemade tsukune, and rice. I chose the Pirikara (Spicy Shoyu) broth and USDA Choice Shortrib (3oz). The broth was super delicious!!! Service is attentive and friendly. See my pictures!

It was my second time eating here. The food was delicious although a little bit expensive. Regardless, I think it is at a good price. I would recommend others to dine here. The waiters and waitresses seemed a bit busy but were very nice. There is a military discount here. There are vegan options available.
