We loved everything we got here! The grilled vegetables were amazing (especially the corn) and the seasonal sashimi was immaculate. We also got the beef tongue and the beef tataki and both were great. Their hiball drinks are also delicious and pleasantly affordable. They can often fill up especially on weekend nights so recommend calling beforehand for a reservation! I’ll definitely be visiting again next time I’m on the island

we LOVE this small restaurant. It’s cozy, the staff is always polite, I love the decor, and as soon as you walk in you are surrounded by delicious smells. There’s so much to choose from.. every time I try something different and I’m always happy with the outcome. the edamame is so good, it has an extra layer of flavor from being fire roasted, and is perfect. The cold tofu is silky, and delicious, the oxtail ramen is my favorite bowl of loveliness. Come with patience here. The food takes a little longer but is so fresh and the presentation is gorgeous. Definitely worth the wait. This is the restaurant that I bring out of towners . and if you live kaimuki it’s a short walk home after a satisfying meal

We would leave 6 ⭐if we could. Honestly the best food experience in all of Oahu! Exceptional service! The wait staff was AMAZING! And the owner was cooking tonight! And came out to say thank you to all the patrons. The atmosphere is great - you feel like you are part of a family. The food was above and beyond! It was the two of us and the portion size was just right. Our taste buds are in heaven with all the spices and sauces. And the presentation too! We had the beef tataki as recommended, grilled vegetables, kalbi, eggplant, and cold tofu. Everything was great and super tasty. Cannot recommend enough! AND ARIGATŌ 🙏

Such a great restaurant with good price! We were very hungry and ordered beers and ended up only costing about 65 per person. Highly recommended. We were in Honolulu for three weeks and visited here twice. For the two times, there was different chefs. And it made an difference. The second time was way better than the first in terms of grilling. Highlights: the tofu, fried chicken, beef tongue, okura, steak…. Will come back and highly recommended!
