Mai Tai is a delightful tropical treat that exemplifies the essence of Hawaiian hospitality, based on my personal experience in Honolulu. This beverage is a must-try for any visitor to the area, given its four-star rating.
The ideal harmony of flavors distinguishes this Mai Tai establishment. A refreshing and revitalizing beverage results from skillful blending of the rum with the tropical fruit juices' sweetness. Indeed, the presentation is equally as impressive as the flavor. It is beautiful when presented in an ornamental glass, frequently adorned with a pineapple slice or a cherry.
The atmosphere during service is what distinguishes the Mai Tai in Honolulu. The environment enhances the enjoyment of a drink, regardless of whether it is in a cozy restaurant or a beachfront bar. The holistic experience is enriched by the tranquil, hospitable ambiance of the nearby establishments, the soothing sound of the waves, and the light breeze.
However, it is essential to note that although the Mai Tai quality is high overall, the specific location may offer a marginally different experience. Try a few other areas before settling on one because some may produce excessively sweet or strong.
In summary, the Mai Tai in Honolulu serves as a delightful embodiment of the region's gastronomy and culture. The gorgeous scenery and the island's welcoming spirit elevate this well-balanced, refreshing cocktail—aIt is anunquestionably memorable experience for any traveler in search of aauthentic Hawaiian surroundings

The ambiance is warm and inviting, with soft lighting and traditional Hawaiian music playing softly in the background. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring that every customer feels welcome and well taken care of.
Now, let's talk about the star attraction - the maitais themselves. Maitais in Ala Moana offers an extensive menu of these delicious concoctions, each crafted with precision and care. From classic flavors like pineapple and coconut to more adventurous combinations like passion fruit and guava, there is something for everyone's taste buds.
The presentation of the maitais is truly a work of art. Served in beautifully carved tiki glasses adorned with fresh tropical fruits and colorful umbrellas, they are almost too pretty to drink. But once you take that first sip, you will be transported to a state of pure bliss.
Maitais in Ala Moana is a must-visit destination for any cocktail enthusiast or lover of all things tropical. With its inviting atmosphere, attentive staff, and delectable maitai creations, it truly embodies the spirit of aloha. So next time you find yourself in Honolulu craving a refreshing libation, make sure to stop by Maitais - your taste buds will thank you!

Nice atmosphere with live music and lovely staff but the food was below average. We ordered the spicy chicken burger and the Thai chicken quesadillas and they were very disappointing. Would come here for drinks again but certainly not for dinner

Thank you to the most friendly local promoter Alan for inviting my fiancé George and I to this location. He ensured we felt welcomed and the general manager Norm delivered as well as the staff. This was such a memorable location and they had live reggae music. I’d highly recommend trying this place if your a local or visiting the island it will NOT disappoint!

Better food than we expected given that it's a bar in the middle of a shopping mall. Our group ordered the fish tacos and burger, which were pretty standard and nothing special. But we also had the fried chicken sandwich and really enjoyed that. The fries were pretty good too.
Unfortunately, due to the live music, it was impossible to hear each other.
And the service wasn't great. Two members of our group got their food and then our waitress told us they couldn't make the third item. We ordered a different item. Once it was prepared, a different waiter clearly didn't know where it was supposed to go. We watched him set it down behind the bar and then our waitress realized it a few minutes later. No idea why he didn't ask anyone. So the third member of our group got his food after the other two had already finished their food.
Also, the food is prepped at Olive Garden if you care.

This place is a vibe for sure. Probably the only spot I go to in Ala Moana center. Live music there is always legit and the drinks are good. I usually order pitchers of beer, great deal
