California Pizza Kitchen

My friend and I went to this CPK location today and the service from the manager was excellent, a lot higher than what can be expected! Both the food and atmosphere were also amazing! I highly recommend this CPK location on Oahu. This place is at the top of my best customer experience on the island! Mahalo to all of the staff and especially the manager working 09.20.2023!

SORRY, I forgot to take pictures of our meal. We arrived a little before noon and were seated right away. Shortly after our arrival, it got busy, and there was a line out the door waiting to be seated. 2nd visit to a CPK, first visit at the Ala Moana location. When I lived in AZ, I went to CPK once. I am not a big pizza fan in general, but I enjoy it on the occasional. We ordered the avocado chicken rolls. I do not like them but the other people in the party do. I had the thin crust california veggie pizza with goat cheese, the Sicilian with cauliflower crust, and a thin crust Carne asada were ordered as well. The Sicilian is a spicy meat pizza. The Carne asada has grilled Carne asada, onions, and peppers. The appetizers and pizzas came out hot and fresh from the oven. There was bread provided with an oil dipping sauce. I did not have any but was told most of the bread was nice and soft. We also ordered a passion fruit and mango ice tea. I really enjoyed the ice tea as it was unsweetened. I ordered the sangria flight. It was pretty good. Nice refreshing fruity drinks. The strawberry margarita was also ordered. It was the best margarita I have had in a while. Everything was tasty. Our server was okay. Service got a little slow as more people arrived. The server informed us of the availability of bread and take n bake pizzas for home use. We had a belated birthday lunch for my little brother. It was a good place in the mall to come for an afternoon meal. Tasty pupus, drinks, and plenty of doggy bags.

We were Sat right away... we ordered an appetizer and a couple of lunch dishes... the appetizer was brought out, and as we were eating it, the waiter took the dish from us chips in hand. There was no explanation, the server just said it was wrong and walked away. About 5 minutes later, he comes back with our chips and dip. Apparently, they forgot to add the Serrano peppers. Instead of just bringing a side of peppers and apologizing for the mistake the waiter too the dish from us. That was bad service. 👎. I've been in the service industry for over 26 years, and you never remove a dish from a table without permission from the guest unless it's for an allergy.

A great CPK. My friends and me could have a hot meal since It opened till late. The pizza was baked freshly and tasted great. I love both bbq chicken and mushroom pizzas. The chip and salsa was also impressive with two colors of chips. Their complimentary breads were great with dipping oil. One problem was that their restroom was out of use.

*Kids eat free thru 7/31/23* We visited on July 3rd. Delicous pizza with Great service! We arrived somewhat close to closing time and they happily served us without rushing us. Our server made sure to get our order right and she took my pizza back when she realized they had included onions after I requested "no onions". With that said, the Carne asada pizza was great! The green sauce added a good tangy flavor. Hawaiian pizza had a high-quality ham with sweet pineapple. The kids loved the kids' plain cheese. The cucumber drink was refreshing, with a fresh mint flavor, almost like a mojito minus the alcohol 😋

A place to wind down and enjoy a meal. You may even hear live music from Mai Tais. Great place to bring your friends and family enjoy a meal together. As of this writing, 6/29/2023, kids eat free until 7/31/2023 from Monday thru Thursday All Day, "Enjoy a FREE CPKids meal with the purchase of any entree.*"
